i think i just realised how i can hate and love ocean with such passion at the same time. she is relatable in all of the unacceptable way: the part of every person that just wishes to have the privilege she has so that they can be a complete jerk to whoever they want without consequences. on the other hand, we all know that if she was a real person, we would hate her and having to deal with her BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH SOMEONE LIKE THAT. on the other other hand, we love the character because it's a perfect way to laugh at people who are actually like that, she's so well writen for that. plus, you rarely see this type of personality in media, so it's a refreshing type of humor overall: character writing: 100/10 people like that:-10/10

Even without context the vibes are just immaculate. There's a harness underneath her dress, which hooks up to a crane that moves in different directions while lifting her up. Her skirt doesn't move because the bones were sewn to shorts which are underneath the skirt, and you can see where she gets attached to the harness when she kinda backs up into the curtain at 18:26 ! It's very quick and simple, and it only takes a few seconds because it's basically a hook with a closing to make sure she doesn't fall. I have pictures of the shorts under the dress and practicing, if you'd like me to upload them! :)

@@Percy_PotterEdits21to be completely fair, I’m also audhd and this is probably one of the my new favorite musicals just from this short and sometimes sped up video. Even without context the vibes are just immaculate. I listened to Noel’s lament for years unironically (it’s so good) before knowing this is where it’s from and it seems that the other songs hold up just as well for me! You’ve definitely unlocked a new musical interest for me hehehe.

and then in her song she says “time eats all his children in the end” and personally i kinda saw that at a reference to the greek myth Kronos, aka Time, eating his own children even after killing his father for being terrible, because he saw a prophecy that one of his kids would overthrow him. So the whole “time eating his children” lines up with the lion father eating his children because he was “jealous”

omg i finally got my friend to watch rtc and she pointed out something I never noticed. i always thought jane moved like a chicken. i told that to my friend and she pointed out how chicken move when their heads are cut off. jane has no head. could just be something silly but I thought that was really cool

19:10 - When she was gone for most of "The Space Age Bachelor Man" song, she was getting ready! There's a harness underneath her dress, which hooks up to a crane that moves in different directions while lifting her up. Her skirt doesn't move because the bones were sewn to shorts which are underneath the skirt, and you can see where she gets attached to the harness when she kinda backs up into the curtain at 18:26 ! It's very quick and simple, and it only takes a few seconds because it's basically a hook with a closing to make sure she doesn't fall. I have pictures of the shorts under the dress and practicing, if you'd like me to upload them! :)
