With that budget, surprised they didn't add a second floor.
That isn't always an option depending on how the first floor walls were constructed.

I think that the garage should have been turned into additional bedrooms for some of the children. At the end of the day, there are EIGHT occupants of a small home and the couple are a long way from it's being a "forever" home.
Wondering how they made all those babies if they didn't have any alone time together 🤔 anyway the house is beautiful but I think the amount of money spent is absurd for what they got

I have 5 kids. Unless they have another mudroom, no way is that enough storage by the front door.

With 300,000 budget , you can easily add square footage , upper story pretty much a whole new house , why use garage only ?
