    I just took interest in DDR and bought a copy of extreme and a pad for ps2. I know a ton of people shit on us extreme but I’m having a blast trying to get good at it, thanks for the video even after 5 years it’s still helping people.

      Means a lot dude! Seriously! I have always had a soft spot for JP Extreme, but US Extreme still did a lot of great things right!
      You’re welcome to find me on Instagram now, I can give you some more tips. @your_favorite_stonnerr

      Puramo Plamo good one. I made this before I learned anything about filiming, editing, scripting, and not clearing my throat every two seconds. That was the first thing I noticed after the upload lol, but I just left it for the information until I can remake this.

    Where'd you go, Stoner? I was hoping for a soft pad to hard pad conversion video.

    • @JJStonnerr
      @JJStonnerr  5 років тому +3

      onewaytosavetheday Haha, I got old and never got around to it. For years, I’ve been contemplating both remaking this video, and coming around to making a hard pad conversion video. Feel free to get ahold of me on Instagram, @your_favorite_stonnerr . I’ll answer everything you’ll ever need to know for this kind of stuff. (I’ve also grown to be a way better player in recent years, I can give updated playing techniques and such as well.)

      i had a hell of a time finding the Metal Arcade Style Home Use Machine, found a pair in California like some i used to have in 2004 and had it shipped to Texas about 2 months ago, too expensive for a new one, got the set for $170 plus $80 shipping, seller blew it apart to 1ft x 1ft cubes.

    • @onewaytosavetheday
      @onewaytosavetheday 5 років тому

      @@Omar-em7rl Thanks for the response! $250 for two of those pads is an amazing price. I heard bad things about any home style metal pads. Would you recommend them after the experience you've had.

      @@onewaytosavetheday have a soldering iron, and basic tools like a phillips and a flat head and you should be fine, the giant buttons underneath are very cheap quality but very easy to fix, 15-20 year old machines are going to have some wear, im a car mechanic pulling engines out every day so this is no biggie.
      they are getting hard to find though for whatever reason, took me 5 months to find these, and that was after i lost 3 bidding wars on ebay for a set.

      @@Omar-em7rl Well, I don't yet have a soldering iron (though I need one for other projects). I appreciate the help! Hopefully, they'll still be selling them when I'm ready to begin.

    Sorry to bother you but do you have any tips for this part of R3? ua-cam.com/video/Uhl0Ioou1Ys/v-deo.html I just started playing pad and have no idea how to do this. I can't do anything that makes me hit the same panel repeatedly actually.

    • @JJStonnerr
      @JJStonnerr  7 років тому +4

      X Jay900 As I mentioned in an earlier comment, this was a cringe-worthy video of mine that I made when I didn't know a whole lot about filming, nor DDR. I will make another video series soon showing different ways to build stamina, and techniques that save a lot of energy that I didn't know when I made this video. If you want me to help you personally in the meantime, feel free to message/email me and I'll be more than happy to help
