Iura is someone I can relate to the most. I was an introvert all through high school, had a few friends but not a lot. So I decided to go full on extrovert when I was in my final year. Made a lot more friends and was in general happier but I was always extremely exhausted after school because of trying to be an extrovert since it took a lot of energy out of me. So I relate to Iura a lot. And I don't regret being an extrovert at all in school because now I have found a great middle ground. It still drains me everyday but I'm a lot happier this way
That's how I started to behave recently with my work and with my friends. I used to be the quiet brooding type of friend that wasnt really noticed and it really got to me. At some point I started behaving a lot more openly and my friends noticed that and said that they liked that version of me, and I like that version too with the difference that, everytime I behave like that, yes I am happy, yes I have fun, yes my friends and I both enjoy it, but after that I am extremely exhausted. Its like you place so much effort into being that version of yourself that doesnt really come naturally to you, but you also see how good it is for you and how other people like it as well.
The manga covers BOTH Hori and Miyamura as characters and also has a good balance covering the other side characters as well. I would say the anime covers about only 30-40% of the manga. The manga is much slower paced and there are quite a lot of "filler" chapters but those tiny moments in those said filler chapters also makes the rest of the story amazing. Overall, I'm just glad it even got an anime and they did an amazing job with the art, animation and music, but I also recommend reading the manga from the beginning after the anime.
I found personally that I score well on tests without studying not a perfect score but at least a B or an A. I also found out that no matter how hard I study it doesn’t change my scores. So I ended up going through high school not studying.
Hope you also get to experience the greatness that is Tonikaku kawaii after this one ( if you haven't already). Not as many and complex ties but a great series.
