The sad thing about Edmonton...and Calgary, for that matter....is that they destroyed some of the beautiful architecture during the oil boom of the 70s and 80s in favor of natural light hating edifices with absolutely no character. Only in the last 20 years has that begun to change.

Yes we used to take the bus downtown and it stopped there. My mother used to say it was a rough place. Highwaymen and rogues.
Epic stupid city councils tore down and ruined downtown. Unbelievably sad
