I'm very impressed with Billy's display. Very well maintained, organized, and totally immaculate. I've always said that watching a video of something or watching something on TV is one thing, but to see it LIVE, everything changes. That's what what I'm thinking about Billy's display right now. I'd be left speechless if I could see everything, LIVE. One great memory that I have of Billy was at the Syracuse mile during Super Dirt Week. It was during sprint car time trials and he averaged 144 mph for a new one lap record.
Billy you are the best been watching you for two many years to Mention I bought a shirt for my little brother and gave it to you to give to him after race at Flemington you gave it to him and a hat and hoodie he still talks about it to this day I think it was 1984 thanks for all the memories 👍
one of the nicest drivers that I have ever met. always took the time to give an autograph or to pose for a picture. that stuff means a lot to the kids who look up to the racers. thank you Billy and thank you Mandee for sharing.
So awesome. When I was a kid, growing up in Pennsylvania, my parents used to take me to Williams Grove Speedway. Billy Pauch used to come from behind and win features all the time. Billy Pauch was a hero to me when I was a kid and is name that has always stayed with me!
My favorite memory of you Dad was a race he won at Georgetown many years ago. They put him to the rear for rough riding and he came back to win. He commented during the post race interview about being placed in the rear " I guess they wanted a show, so I gave them one!" He proceeded to stick the checkered flag in the ground sharply!
what an honor to see one of the greats from the beginnings till the present. i Remember Billy well at East Windsor and Flemington in Dick Barneys #14 asphalt mod. WOW !! BE IN THE MOMENT WHEN YOU SEE BILLY, GUYS AND GALS
Just , Wow ! I had know idea ! I knew He was a good driver , but I didn't know how good ! Thank you once again for opening up my eyes & seeing greatness !
I love how it starts out. I remember that car, it was in the Sportsman division. I remember that whole season, even though I was only 11. My grandfather would take me every Friday to East Windsor. Once Statewide/Bridgeport opened, we'd go there every Saturday. Good times!
I saw Billy for the first time at Flemington way back in 1975-76 and I knew this kids gonna go somewhere. Man if i was right about anything I was right about that. Kudos Bill for an awesome career.
Only thing missing from his resume was NYFS Big Block. So close in 86' where he was beat by McCreadie with what would come to be an illegal 5 gallon fuel filter and 88', he was the fastest car on the track and got tangled with DJ in turn 1. He never personally liked racing on the mile. I don't know what it was about it.
Been to the Pauch open house several times and always a lot of fun! The trophy room is just so overwhelming with all the plaques, picture, trophies and memorabilia! The entire Pauch family does a nice job and looking forward to going again this year!
One of the most accomplished dirt car racers ever ! Favorite memory 1994 World of outlaws at Syracuse victory over greatest field of outlaw drivers in that era !
all i can say is that i was in the pits at ews,,when billy the kid showed up,,was pit man for les katona,,n les ask me who is that,,i said get ready to go faster,,this kid is unreal,,wanna say ive watched this man from day one,,plus gave him i handshake when he won at the cuse in the outlaw race,,,,ill be at the port july 1st ,,to hopefully see him race,,driving from grand rapids michigan,,last car i pitted on before leaving jersey was the 747,,frank cozze driving,,thank you billy for all the great driving skills you showed everyone,,keep up on the wheel my man,,bobby fiorello
Mandy your best video yet. I really enjoyed learning more about your dad career. Cool guy. I wish I could come to the open house. Keep up the the good work.
I want to see you racing at some point,Mandee, come on it’s in your blood, thanks wow lots of history, I love the old mod cars in your Dads, pictures, kool , thanksBigAlCalifornia.
Being a relatively new subscriber, I'm sifting through some of your past videos. Wish I had seen this one sooner. Really an amazing collection of awards and pictures. Your Dad is an ace of a guy. Hope I can be at your 2020 Open House. Cheers!
WOW ! I remember going to Flemington to watch the cars race. We grew up in Long Valley so it wasn't too far. We are in Flemmington almost every week (Dr.'s and Shopping) and I walk around Lowes thinking of all the heated moments that there must have been there on that property. Cool stuff, you do an excellent job on the videos. Thank You.
1 word WOW!!! Mandee thank you for sharing what is amazing racing career your Father has had through the years and still having. This vid brought smiles, joy, just a tingle in my body to see like you said what some dream of. To accomplish what your Father has takes skills, hard work and dedication along with great equipment, sponsors, crew AND A FAMILY who backs you. Lets just say Hank Jr says it best IT's A FAMILY TRADITION!!! Could you do a video like this for your Brother & Mike?
Impressive accomplishments and excellent video. I remember going to Flemington as a kid when my father was involved with a couple of friends, before his(and eventually my) drag racing days. I distinctly remember how amazingly easy Billy seemed to make winning look. I recall at least one time when they had a bounty posted for anyone who could beat him. The picture with many of the old time guys from Flemington, like Sammy Beavers and Joe Hall, bring back some great memories of Saturday nights there.
Mandee I may at a loss for words maby UNBELIEVABLE. PROBABLY THE WINNINGEST DIRT TRACK DRIVER EVER AND IS STILL WINNING RACES SEE IF HE CANT COME.UP WITH A TOTAL FEATURE WIN NUMBER
Enjoyed the video. You probably get tired of old guys like me goin' on about the good old days of Flemington Speedway, you probably weren't even alive for a race at Flemington Speedway! But I was a regular there up to the earliest years of your Dad's racing career there. Then for me it was off to the Army! But it was fun to go back to those days in your video, and catch up with the racing Pauches since then!
Great job Mandee and "Kid"..... Seeing all this makes his win this year even more impressive. I hope you have blocked the 15th off from 12 to 4 to get some video footage for us of the open house.
Never forgive Billy for what he did to us at Fulton speedway , the man was unbelievable, can see him now up along the wall a place where we wouldn't ever think of running, he really gave us an education, the man was great , hold your head high girl , your dad was a great one!
I was watching some old Outlaw races with Brad Doty and Ralph Shaheen recently. I think it was Brad that said if billy had gotten in Sprint Cars at an earlier age he could have been the best that ever was! I don’t doubt it.
kinda funny my very first diecast i had ever baught was your dads zemco sprintcar i didnt buy it because i was a fan but rather out of all the cars his was the coolest looking out of all of the other cars and i still have it on the shelve and its still my most favorite
Reading fairgrounds 1975 first trip to victory lane! 2018 still visiting his most desired destination checkerboard square! Said to a friend pretty Impressive huh? A brief pause he didn't answer. So I said well Yeah I sure am. He says "not me"! I then explained to him we were no longer friends and made him Google jealously!!
