I'm so jealous that my Dad got to see Queen in concert TWICE, I'm seeing them for the first time in DC in July....it'll be a very bittersweet experience for me because it's just not Queen without Freddie!
I'd say Queen II is my favourite album too, together with Innuendo. Queen II is more outstanding as an album, Innuendo's songs work better as singles...anyway, I love each Queen album!
They are all gonna come, but next thing I do after the Queen album is Made In Heaven. Just have a little patience and enjoy Queen in all their genius ;D
"Mama I'm gonna be your slave, all day long, Mama gonna try behave" Reminds me of when my dad died. "I'm gonna kneel down by your side and pray" Reminds me of when my mother was dying.

My all-time favorite Queen song. Was blessed to see Queen open for Mott The Hoople at The Uris Théâtre on Broadway, back in the 70's. And I had a good laugh when I went out for a drink, at intermission, and saw all the text book R-n-R snobs, you know them, the ones who are too cool to see the opening act. Till this day you see them at every gig. I bet they now tell all there friends, "Yeah man, I saw Queen live at the Uris Theater." Bullshit, you only heard them, you did not see them. I saw Tool at The Barclay Center a few years ago. There were hundreds of Punters out side waiting for Tool to perform and Killing Joke were on stage performing. How the FUCK can you ignore a band like Killing Joke? Go figure...........
He wasn't British nor from Zanjibar or India... He was Persion. He and his family have never been in Iran but all the zoroastrians of the world are Persion because that's an iranian religion...RIP Freddie..
Heavy. Poignant. Like horsepower Rock. Verging on half a century of crypt rest, does Time really matter anymore? A lesson in heaviness, theatrical antics and, above all, highly expressive singing, astonishingly PRECISE guitars and a rhythm section that even today would be hard to find. All of Q's 70s albums are a peace Panzer Division.
As first albums go this is a masterpiece given the circumstances, it contains all the classic Queen elements. the Blue Nile had a similar scenario in the studio, checking out equipment on the sly, producing groundbreaking work, Buchannan and the boys had a savage quality control muscle which leaves us with every song a potential heartbreaker.
The truth is he wasn't from Britain, but he was a British citizen from birth though he was born in Zanzibar. And now for a real fact, his birth name was Farrokh Bulsara not Freddie Mercury. Regardless of this Freddie considered himself British (and held a British passport) and lived in England for most of his life. So, any more fun facts?
Early Queen and Late Queen may be completely different, but the one thing that prevails is that they never become boring
Amen to that
WOW so true

What about mid queen
