ive wanted to make electronic music for years but only now ive been able to afford the hardware and software. these tutorials are incredible for understanding how sound and bass design works, thanks so much
There's so much good free stuff now! There's a good free DAW even with Cakewalk. For an incredibly powerful free VST see above. For a great set of free effects look at Kilohearts.
Im new to...all of this. Ive been trying to watch tutorials on learning to use synths and vital but its hard for me to understand how one knows where to begin to tweak all these things to make a sound, there are so many knobs and things to link its amazing. Following this tutorial gave me some XP points lol thank you!
Syntorial******** can't recommend it enough. I've gone through a lot of it and I'm honestly finding vital to be really easy and intuitive now, when before just looking at synths scared me. They use a very basic synth but they explain what everything does and with that knowledge you can start experimenting in vital
@@sporngberb1681 Its rough to answer lol. Vital is the only synth ive messed with, but seeing serum in some tutorial videos I recognize some functions. Ive definitely come a long way with Vital. Sometimes at the store I can visualize LFO shapes from what song is playing lol.
what a sick tutorial jesus i couldnt use massive i hated it haha this is awesome even from this you can make yer own bass presets absolute gold thank you !!
This guys swedish accent is so thick and it's hilarious for me as a Swede to be able to hear this instantly😂 linear uttalas "linniör"

Hey, thank you so much for the tutorial. I have one niche question; I am aware you might not be able to answer it: I noticed your Vital Synth is running at a smooth 60fps (or more), how do you get it to run at that frame rate? I use Vital with Cubase Artist 12. Thanks again.
I´m with yu right until you start making a pattern in the growl at around 06.30. It´s just one continues growl when I do it. Any idea what I´m doing wrong?
Excellent tutorial! So if I understand correctly, you have to compose your melodies using the LFO sequence and pitch automation instead of placing midi notes at different pitches within the midi clip? It seems that the LFO 2 can only do quarter note, eight note, and 16th note. So how can you create a sequence with a combination of triplet rhythms (3-based) and 2-based rhythms?
I'm new to this too, but I was messing around with it a bit and found that if you click on the quarter note next to the frequency that it has the option to switch it to tempo triplets. Not sure if that helps
thanks, now i can finally start creating my own lo-fi music!
nice

how's your progress coming along? I'm curious, I just started in January and I have a pretty good grip on synthesizers now.
