- Aly & AJ is one of our favorite sister duos. They came by to trade in AJ's Taylor guitar for a vintage Gibson guitar! Aly is playing our late 1950's Martin 0-15 and AJ with her Taylor guitar singing their new single "Slow Dancing" off their new album here at #NormansRareGuitars! What do you think?

90s kid here and my thought was "who?" hah. Great talents, need to lookup some of their stuff.
That would explain why I’ve never heard of them. Lol. But I like them. They’re good. I’m a noobie player and this song is perfect for me to work on fundamentals.

this is still a recording, but it's a recording of a life performance which I really love more than studio

Yes it’s lainey from The Goldberg’s! She has an awesome voice on the show so it only makes sense she rocks it in real life! I like the contrasts in their voices. It’s very pretty!

Never heard of them, but the one on the left has great taste in guitars.
They was in Disney at a young age up to teens then had 10 years Break then come back in 2013 or 2015 with new music back first come back take me song was released and they Disney they’ve changed so much my best childhood I can’t wait to see them next year 🎶👏🏻😆 if you want to know all about them find out on Internet they amazing x x 😄

Great harmonies - but first rule of dual guitars is each not to.play identical versions of chords. You'll really fill out your sound if each plays a different inversion or position.....wishing you continued success. Stay safe!!!

Why bother having both of you playing the same chords. Break it up, a bit of doodling at least. Or grab an acoustic bass. Very underrated instrument.

Hmm, mostly vocally unicen, not many harmonies, but great when they did split, and big no no playing exactly same chords on two guitars, no inversions, no runs, if I'm honest, really basic beginner stuff here. Nice ladies though wishing you the best. Keep on improving as we all try to!
I think I may be missing the need for the critism? I didn't find the honesty particularly helpful, it mostly put unnecessary judgement in a world where there is already enough of that. The last two sentences would have been a good way to contribute encouragement and kindness into the world. ♡ Wishing you the best too!
What happened to Aly? She used to be one of the most beautiful women in the world at one point and disappeared and now looks like a middle school librarian.
