You will probably never see this comment as I'm late to finding this series. But I'm thoroughly enjoying this Let's Play. I gave up on Anno 1800 (base game) after building a powerful empire, taking down everyone except Margaret (including the Pirates), only to have the Pirates reappear after I decimated my economy to beat them. But this series brings back the joy of Anno 1800. And you've done an amazing job showcasing the game. It's so much fun to watch.
I would suggest buying shares in Margaret's island before making those big purchases so that the relationship penalty is negated via the bonus for the large trade.
Loving it Darren, really my favourite series on youtube right now! Thoughts on a big central park infront of the palace in crown falls? And/ or a central boulevard with double trains up and down?
Definitely want a sort of boulevard leading up to the palace and maybe even having a museum *inside* of it. Not sure if there'd be a need for trains, but we'll see!

Hi there, you can press "J" for the next ruin, and "M" for the move tool. To lay out streets without building them, just click SHIFT while building the street. // Edit: I fogot to say: "G" = place farm modules (farm must be selected), "D" = delete tool

Shackleton’s Ship Endurance will be great in the Arctic DLC! Or at least when your ship Endurance is in the Arctic it can pull double duty as the one you’re thinking of and as a nod to Shackleton.
The "Endurance" was the ship Russell Crowe was captain of in "Master and Commander: The Farside of The World," a very good movie. Not as good as "Gladiator" though.
I always start a new game all hyped up that I'm gonna be super efficient... but then I get to engineers and I just wanna stop playing. I even decided not to play against any other AI except pirates because wars were such a slog to go through.
Boss dunno if you will read this but light suggestion instead of concentrating ur population only on the islands (in crown falls) why not create farming villages for the farmers by the farms and workers by the industrial sector while the islands for artisans, scholars engineers and investors
Yeah I'll be doing it once I'm done in the Sunken Treasures area, people have asked me not to hop around so much, and I have plans for how I'll do the Arctic and Enbessa, which I'll talk about soon!

In 2022 the wreck of the Endurance was discovered in a very good condition. Also I love that you added the ship's cat.

The AI doesn't settle the Arctic like they do with Enbessa/Crown Falls, until you settle it first.
