Building Cobblestone Stairs: Timelapses at Work With Osmo Pocket!

- Welcome to my latest project! This time I'm building cobblestone stairs to make better access to my clients back yard. Since I'm building on a natural rock outcrop, I removed all moss and soil where the stairs will be built. This is so the cement can have direct contact with the rock, and roots won't get in between the cement and rock. As I start to build, I begin with a framework around the edge of each step, so I can use all the stones that gave two nice faces; one for the side and one for the top. Then I infill with the remaining stones, which only have to have one nice face at this point. As always I use mortar that is made up of 1 part Portland cement to 4 parts sand.
You are the master of stone.
Thanks for watching, as always! It was a fun, but challenging project. Especially fun because the homeowner I have known since I was 5 years old; we're almost 50 now!😱😆
Beautiful work! Keep the videos coming. 🙏 thank you!

A very luxurious stone staircase has been completed.
I'm worried about my waist because it's a thought stone.
Thank you very much!
good brain
You’re using rocks of all sizes-how are you getting them all level? Mortar underneath to make them all come up even with mortar filling in the gaps?
That's right.
Did you use 100% cement or did you add agrigate?
I used a 4-1 mix of sand and Portland cement.
Hey Gord. We've got a small project - how do we reach you?
Do you live in the same city as me?
