There was probably a long waiting list at Hermes compared to Louis Vuitton. The doorman in Hermes had the ipad for the waiting list or appointments. Just because you are famous in one country doesn't mean you can always cut the line or get in right away or known every where. A lot of places like Hermes, Chanel, LV have a waiting list now to get in and sometimes you have to make appointment/reservation to shop, we do that here in NYC. Also protocols must be followed, famous or not. If they require masks, wear masks...simple to follow.

You need an appointment with Hermes. I’m from Australia, my girlfriend registered before she left for Europe, Paris was in her itinerary to buy a bag. Hermes has all their existing customers in a data base.

It's very careless for Sharon to get the the video edited to make it seem like it was the Pretty Woman scenario when it wasn't. She could've clarified the situation to her followers but instead, she acted entitled and let her fans bash the Hermes store without knowing their reasoning. Glad you made your research but for people who don't normally shop to those high-end stores, they wouldn't know the protocols especially in another country.

I agree, but I also understand Sharon's hurt and offended reaction. It gives anyone, rich and famous or not, a bad feeling when one is refused entry into a store or a mall or a restaurant for any reason, esp. without being given any explanation. You end up wondering why when other people are allowed to go in. Even someone like Sharon felt hurt and offended and felt the need to make the Hermes doorman regret refusing her entry without explanation. Of course, Sharon should not have cared not being able to go into any shop. It's just one shop. There are so many to choose from.

I am living here in Switzerland for 36 years , during Covid I went to LV in Lausanne with my Filipina friend, we waited outside on a cold winter waiting for our turn to enter the boutique. It goes with HERMÈS ,TIFFANY AND LV in Zurch, when Covid restrictions was lifted.

As a Korean, thank you po for this video. Thanks din po for pointing out that Sharon violated the law (not wearing a mask sa indoor). It started as a misunderstanding but for someone with influence as Sharon Cuneta should have been more careful in making videos like this. I wonder how many people who easily judged the situation are watching this video to hear the story from both sides. Hoping you the very best and please continue your good work as an ambassador to both countries! :)

I understand both sides, but esp. a rejected customer's side when an establishment refuses you entry even due to protocols or S. O. P. It can be a very hurtful experience. I was once refused entry into a hotel lobby pre-pandemic, when I went there to hand my boss papers he asked me to bring him. He's there for a medical conference. I was dressed casually because it was Saturday, so the doorman refused me entry despite my explanation about why I was there. Hemade me feel like a criminal the way he talked to me. I had to text my boss about it, so he had to leave the conference room and walk all the way to the entrance to receive the papers he asked me to bring, then he gave the doorman a lecture about not judging and treating people badly just because they don't look rich. My boss then talked to the doorman's boss to complain. It all got even more embarrassing than if the doorman had just allowed me in in the first place. I felt bad for him despite his unkind behavior.

Second, for someone with influence as Sharon should be more careful in uploading videos like that. They jumped to conclusion too quick and made it an opportunity for their channel. If you go to malls in Korea, they are super strictly educated about customer service. There are even TV shows and dramas stories about being a salesman having to showing hospitality to the customers. In the entrance, they usually check the names with a tablet or put up a sign (usually in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese. Lalo sa Myeongdong) that the store is closed or no entry or whatsoever. I feel like Sharon or her editor just used this situation as a joke or was probably hoping for more clicks and views without thinking about the consequences deeply through. She's a megastar. I hope she will deliver correct messages and share true experience to her fans.

Not the part where she was probably told or remembered then put on the mask that makes it OK. People like Sharon are called 'influencer' because fans watch her and be influenced by their actions and words. So she should've been more careful in creating contents so she would not deliver a wrong message. This standard applies to anyone and everyone. Just as the Hermes policy applied to anyone. What's the point of discussing the moment when she was wearing a mask when clearly, she wasn't doing so the entire time?

This issue is as simple as following the rules and s.o.p. The rule is that you have to make a reservation first before you can enter the store. And the rule applies to everybody, whether you're a celebrity or not!

Actually nahulaan naman namin na closed na for clients because of the comment made also by Sharon that "closed na" which sounded out of context but why would she say something like that out of the blue. So we guessed 3 things, one that the store is already closed for additional clients for the day, the second is probably because there is a celebrity guest for the day, or third that it was because it was by appointment to enter the store. Masyado lang ma-react ang iba without thinking about it. That's why we never reacted to Sharon's video.

Filipinos don't seem to know what kind of country Korea is. They have strict rules and rules. You have to make a reservation to enter the Hermes store. Even the president of Korea cannot enter the Hermes store without a reservation.

Even prior to COVID ganyan naman talaga ang kalakaran sa mga high end shops not only in Korea but sa iba't ibang bansa...we went also in the same LV shop na pinuntahan ni Sharon at 2017 pa yon bago magka Covid and we waited sa queue bago makapasok kasi nga one customer one staff ang policiy talaga nila to make sure na well attended yung customer at hindi ka iko't ikot lang at nagiintay na may mag asssit sayo kaya lalo pa ngayon na kagagaling lang sa pandemic kaya mas mahigpit siguro sila.

Sharon Cuneta is not a newbie in buying products from luxury brands. It is supposed to be the store attendant's responsibility to explain the system or procedure the nicest and clearest way possible. There is something wrong with how they deliver ideal customer service. You cannot really blame the customer for feeling bad especially they are very excited. Do not let the customer. Improve the quality of the service.

Also same here in Riyadh. All branded store 1 is to 1, meaning isang staff isang customer. So kung 10 ang staff ng branded store 10 lang din ang customers sa loob. At first requirement is dapat may suot ka ng disposable gloves bago mo hawakan ang items. Hindi mo pwede hawakan ang mga items pag wala kang gloves at may limit time ang customer sa loob para naman makapasok ang iba.
There are always 3 sides in a story. Judge it for yourself after listening the call to a customer service rep ng Hermes. Feeling entitled lang si Sharon tulad ng mga taong may kaya sa buhay at yung mga matataba at mapuputi haha. Marami lang talagang mga marites, lalake man o babae, sa pinas at siempre maraming bibili ng newspaper o manonood ng video pag mayroong kasamang controversial. Ang katotohanan at kitang-kita ng mga taong nanonood ng video ang maraming bilbil ng mga tao na nasa video. Lesson learned for me is Hermes is treating everyone equally regardless of your status in life. That's why I like to visit places like it.

I also experienced na hindi pinapasok, I think 3 times yata because I did not make advance reservation. Pero kapag walang pila at kakaunti ang customers sa loob, they will let you in right away, no waiting nor advanced reservations needed. As for Gucci, they are less strict. They always let me in. No reservations needed kahit may COVID pandemic. By the way, all my shopping experiences ay sa California. So, pare-pareho lang ang rules and restrictions nila kahit saang bansa ka pa.

You need to understand that Ms. Sharon is not from Korea and the plan of shopping to that store was impromptu and apparently didn’t have any idea about Herme’s Store current protocols. If it was explained to her properly by that attendant (I hope he did) then being an educated and understanding person as the Mega Star, she wouldn’t have thought that she was turned away. Point is, let’s not judge both pf them (Sharon and the Herme’s attendant)

Here in the states before Covid regardless of your outfit you can walk in the luxury store. Now due to Covid people inside the store are very limited regardless if it’s luxury store or toy store you need to wait.

Sa US pag sinabi by appointment, by appointment lang. Hermes cost lots of money kaya by appointment accept the rules, and take an appointment.
Clue: Pagdaan uli nila sharon sa hermes, nakita nung guy na may hawak na LV kaya inalok sila if gusto pa nila, sabi ni sharon no more. i buy everything sabi. so i assume na may discrimination sa hermes. It's a fact na kaya niya tinatawag uli kasi nakita niya na affford nila. kung totoo na may customer pa s loob, bakit wala naman nakita sa video?

I agree in every luxury brand..like Singapore is not Easy to go in, its very strict. .allow 2 to 3 people and is not allow more than that because every country there is a policy to shop at high end brand..!!
