Unkle has this uncanny ability to craft a song I start off listening to thinking it's mudane or too formulaic & by the end of the song I end up loving it. This is a prime example

sadly lost my interest in UNKLE when they became this sort of grungey indie band. I just find their latest stuff really bland even though I appreciate all artists need to evolve. I remember UNKLE for their epic, powerful and dark orchestral breakbeat and it's a shame they've not produced more of what they're actually known for.
Can't be easy when there are other band members to consider. I guess the choice is either split up or diversify. Generally a band will attract new fans along the way and lose others, it's how it is. I don't knock a band for changing, I've gone off in different directions myself. Never look back or stagnate.
