I think at some point you have to stop thinking just because an artist is on a song with Em, the artist is going to body it or should body the verse. That isnt going to happen every time and as soon as you get that through your head, the better. This is around the time Conway first went main stream and he stayed in his lane on this track. If I am being honest, I am an EM fan and Em killed his verse but I always felt the beat switch in the revised version and the verse itself did not match the song and switched the tone in a way that it was out of place. It didnt work for me overall. Now the original version works more and he should of stuck with that but I have a feeling he also wanted to chill on that revolt section of the verse.
