Halyna Hutchins was a cinematographer who was tragically shot on set by actor Alec Baldwin during the production of the Western film Rust. A functional prop gun, which Baldwin was using while rehearsing a scene involving a quick draw, was loaded with live ammunition. It accidentally discharged, striking Halyna and resulting in her death. In this context, Em suggests that if anyone “fucks around” with him, his reckless and negligent response could lead to a fate similar to that of Halyna Hutchins: homicide.

@@AmaraQuellcrist I think it's more that a lot of em fans (not all) kinda dickride him heavily and overhyped him at times. And they often either aren't aware, refuse to give credit, and/or don't want to look into many of the other top lyricists in the subgenre who are at Em's level and who Em respects heavily. Even Em gets really annoyed with a lot of his fanbase, because he's tried to introduce a lot of hip hop to them, and they either don't care or refuse to listen to anything that's not Eminem or sounds Eminem adjacent. How many Em fans know or actively tune in and listen to guys like Cambatta, Asa Jake, Daylyt, Chino XL, Locksmith, Greydon Square, Justin Freeman, Mickey Factz, Black Thought, Mos Def, Loaded Lux, Locksmith, Lupe Fiasco, King iso, KAAN, Greydon Square, Rap Ferreira, Billy Wood's etc.? Not that many. Yet they all have top tier pens, and Eminem considers them to be his friendly rivals, as well as respects their pens heavily. Where's the praise for those guys? Even Em gets annoyed with that portion of his fanbase.
@@myjciskate4 you dont see Stans in those rappers comment section maybe because they're not typing "hey Eminem stan here" before they compliment them. i'm not a Stan im just a fan of Em but he will never be "overhyped" because he's the best at making funny punclines, he can be super emotional, he's great at making "fight me" bars, and he can be the riddler with his wordplay. all of that in one song. you can argue he had a lot of songs with boring beat but his flows and cadence will help the beat.
@@AmaraQuellcrist It seems like your response actually proves the point I was making about a portion of Eminem's fanbase. By immediately listing Eminem's qualities-his funny punchlines, emotional depth, "fight me" bars, and intricate wordplay-without recognizing the breadth of other talented lyricists I mentioned, you’re illustrating the exact issue I'm talking about. It’s not about whether Eminem's fans are typing "Hey, Eminem stan here" in other rappers’ comment sections. The problem is a lack of engagement with artists who possess similar or even greater lyrical talents. If Eminem fans truly appreciated the broader landscape of hip-hop, we'd see more visible support for artists like Cambatta, Asa Jake, Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco, and many others who have skills on par with or surpassing Eminem's in various aspects. Instead, many fans remain in a bubble, focusing solely on Eminem or artists who sound similar to him, often dismissing or ignoring the talents of others. When you say Eminem will never be "overhyped" because of his diverse skills, you're missing my point. It's not about diminishing Eminem's talent but recognizing that some fans place him on an untouchable pedestal while dismissing other equally skilled artists. Overhyping happens when fans fail to acknowledge or explore the talents of other top-tier lyricists, focusing instead on one artist as the absolute best without considering others’ contributions. There are plenty of artists who excel in the areas you mentioned-funny punchlines, emotional depth, and intricate wordplay-at an equal or even higher level. For example, Black Thought is known for his intricate wordplay and storytelling, Lupe Fiasco delivers complex and emotional narratives that are much more complex that Em, and artists like MF DOOM, have a knack for clever and humorous punchlines. To overlook these artists and solely elevate Eminem is to ignore the rich diversity of skills that hip-hop has to offer. Guys like Daylyt, Asa Jake, Chino XL, Locksmith etc. are equally as technical if not more technical. Even Eminem has expressed frustration with this part of his fanbase. He’s tried to introduce his listeners to other artists and styles, but many fans have resisted. This resistance is exactly what I’m referring to-a closed-mindedness that even Eminem himself is aware of and frustrated by. Focusing solely on Eminem's abilities while neglecting the contributions of artists like Black Thought, Lupe Fiasco, and others reinforces the idea that many fans are unaware of or unwilling to explore the broader scope of hip-hop. Eminem is a fantastic artist, but so are many others. By choosing to stay within a limited bubble of what they perceive as "the best," many fans miss out on the diverse landscape of hip-hop that Eminem respects and draws inspiration from. Overhyping Eminem while ignoring these other incredible talents doesn’t do justice to the genre or the legacy that Eminem himself aims to promote.
@@AmaraQuellcristEminem is severely overhyped by Stan's, and a lot of them don't even listen to the subgenre of hip hop Em is in. There's plenty of rappers that do all of those things at a high level like Em, and some skills much better than him and vice versa. Em is the top of the top, but there's tons of other dudes in that top of the top sphere as well. That's why Em still goes as hard as he does in the pen. Guys like Daylyt are way funnier than Em for me, in terms of punchlines and just as technical. I get if you like Eminem or think he's you're favorite, but when Stans say things like "Eminem is on an island of his own" it really rubs a lot of us hip hop heads the wrong way, because it just screams ignorance a complete lack of respect and awareness for the rest of the culture. Even Eminem hates when his fans do that and don't respect the other top tier guys in his subgenre. Again, the reason Em even goes as hard as he does with the pen is because of all the other top tier guys that are his rivals that he competes with. They all compete with each other. All of the top of the top guys within that subgenre, including Em, are all at a relatively similar level of skill (all with their own minor strengths and weaknesses). They all could take eachother out on any given day. That's what makes hip hop fun, and that's why they all respect eachother's pens heavily. That's why Em is still going as hard as he is with the pen today. I remember when Eminem fans used to say that Royce the 5'9 was some untouchable lyricist because he's best friends with Eminem and had bested him once or twice. Then Royce got absolutely unanimously destroyed Lupe Fiasco and Mickey Factz battled/dissed him, and admitted he got destroyed and out-rapped. That's why you shouldn't overhype or overrate an artist in the lyrical subgenre, because all fans and participants of the subgenre and culture all intuitively understand that any top of the top lyricist within that subgenre could take the other out on any given day, as they're all at a relatively similar skill level. The better, more accurate, and productive thing to say would be that Em is one of those lyricists who are in the top of the top category. You can still acknowledge that he's one of the top 5 or 10 all time on the influential list, and a top 5 all time legend, as well as state how good his skill set is, while simultaneously avoiding overhyping him and disrespecting all of the other top of the top tier lyricists in his subgenre. Smart fans and fans of the subgenre know that stating that all the top of the top lyricists are at a similar skill level, and could all potentially take eachother out is the best way to word it, as it still allows you to acknowledge any individual contributions of any given artist, while simultaneously avoiding overhype or disrespecting other top of the top artists within the subgenre.

I was just about to post that. It’s funny how people think it’s a good bar when it’s not even a bar.
@@davidboucher3584 frrrrrr😂
He goes A, B, C in the alliteration in each part of the verse! Em is a fucking genius!
Pound of cake?!
Also, side note 7:20 is solid proof that no matter what age, everyone talks and then goes silent for Em when raps. I love it! haha
Don't ever listen to eminem if you can't catch real bar's that makes you think lol
💯
They're desperate for that reaction channel money since they know Eminem brings new viewers to reaction channels.
🤣🤣🤣
they needa listen to these with lyrics cause that went over their heads
That Diddy bar was actually genius bro honestly it was
Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer of Alec Baldwin's "Rust" movie, who got shot with a live bullet, Alex Bldwin used during the filming of the movie.
He made this bar before the feds were after Diddy.
Don’t test like an essay
Cause like where my homies out west ay
You could just say
I’m like r a p e r got so many Ese’s (SAs) (Essays)
Wait he didn’t just spell the word rapper and leave out a P did he? (Diddy)
That SA mine is a quadruple
Halyna Hutchins was a cinematographer who was tragically shot on set by actor Alec Baldwin during the production of the Western film Rust. A functional prop gun, which Baldwin was using while rehearsing a scene involving a quick draw, was loaded with live ammunition. It accidentally discharged, striking Halyna and resulting in her death.
In this context, Em suggests that if anyone “fucks around” with him, his reckless and negligent response could lead to a fate similar to that of Halyna Hutchins: homicide.
Ems a monster!!! JID came strong but Em a alien
Yall crazy...Em talking about current events in the news..
omg people these days would look at the most beautiful art in the face and say "I don't think it's necessaryyyyyy" geeez 🙄
You guys are horrible bar catchers, you missed so much and you said pound of cake, he said powder keg
Wishing you guys luck, but Em is saying things that are just flying over your heads. Ya have to be more studied than you are to have the number of subscribers that I hope you have one day. Not subscribing today, but I'll look out for you guys in the future, and hope you have done your homework so I can hit that button.
Fuel goes soo hard with a set of 15". Sounds so nice
That PDiddy bar is the 2024 haymaker , guarantee nothings toppin that shit from any of these goofy rappers ,yo and I don't even fck wit Ems music, but to put that shit together like that ???who's doin that???
love when ppl appreciate real lyricism JID and EM spazzed tf out
See? This is why we need Stans to help these type of hiphopheads to update their hiphop software. We just wanna help but y'all start calling us "the swifties of hiphop". even tho taylor dont even have enough talent to create a cult. she's a hustler and Eminem is the cream of the crop.
@@myjciskate4she was not gonna read all this 😂
He said Powder keg,not pound cake. I missed it too the first time.
Powder keg.......not pound of cake 🤦♂
E🔥🔥m
Great reaction, nice that you don't cater to Em (UA-cam) fans and give real opinions.
So when JID says “I’ve been spending time with the minister”- He’s talking about Em as the minister… crazy underrated bar!!
Y’all missed a lot
Not "Pound Cake" but "Powder Keg"... however, thank you both cause I needed this.
That is the very best that never rest...
He said powder keg, not pound cake. Maybe react to lyric videos
Alex Baldwin is in reference to the Director of the movie, Rudy, who got shot and killed with the prop gun! And Diddy was spot on point!
Finally someone who appreciates that Kellen Mond bar ❤
Ironically that was the only bar he got lol
Bro that Diddy Bar is going down in history.
Em will never diss or disrespect Drake. Drake did something for one of his daughters, so he will always have Em’s respect. 🔥🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼
“Powder Keg” (barrel of gunpowder) ; also bars like “instead of host i proceed to bussin” that slip by because of the pace, he doesnt slow down through the chicane.
They dad at this 😂go back in listening he started with a than b than c
Eminem is above your knowledge young one
Alot of ppl are commenting about the "over your head BARZ"... It's not their fault 🤷.. They haven't been raised to have the mental capacity to understand the craft. They been schooled and raised to to have face value thought and not 2nd and 3rd thought. My 12 yr old son currently listens to Talib, Lupe, Common and Black Thought. That's where I'm RAISING HIM HIP HOP.
Lol these guys 🤦🏾♂️
I like the 2 generational reaction duos. It shows what old heads feel when listening to a new Em album and what the new generation thinks of Em. He is talented but he isnt everyones Percocet
It was more than just a diddy bar, it was a whole diddy scheme from “press play” (diddy album) all the way to “touch my car” (kid cudi car blowing up) it’s ok to miss things but it definitely wasn’t “forced”
I feel like the down playing that bar was strategic to work the you tube algorithm!
Hey guys, love watching your videos, can you turn down that intro music at the start? its difficult to hear you sometimes.
It was an ABC rhyme scheme unbelievable
When em is doing the "c" word notice the beat is off and you have like a piano with a hi hat sound and Eminem is using his mouth as a percussion
EM is just smarter with the pen and he's just the best ever 🎉that's it ezzzzz
You ain't hearing Diddy bar 😂
Playing stickball in the street Cause you must be on base if you thinkin' you could touch my car this bar is another shot at Diddy, references, with him allegedly trying to blow up Kid Cudi’s car.💀💀
well his son one of gen z.. 😂 dude said em dissed didy because what he face now, Em dissed diddy dissed long time ago kids.. you just slow
Sheeesh, this reaction was cringe. This is why I say that ppl need to be up on current events when listening to Em's music or else a lot of shit will fly over ppl's head. This verse is top notch!!! J.I.D. didn't even come close to Em on this song!
Coupe De Grace is a masterpiece.
Halyna Hutchins was the woman that Alec Baldwin shot on set. She ultimately died.
Damn that Diddy bar went over both their heads
Naw we got it... Just had a little diff opinion about it. Thanks for watching!
@UncleTrebor it's all good if you didn't like it. We can have a difference in opinions. That is our first amendment. Keep doing what your doing on YT and I pray the channel succeeds. No hate here.
Apologizing for assuming it went over y'all head.
Hutchins was shot and killed on the set of Rust by Alec Baldwin after a prop gun misfired. She died from her injuries.
That Alec Baldwin bar miss was insane. I’m in the Uk and that shit was all over the news and papers. He wishes he was only court trying to tap Halyna Hutchins.
Eminem says "powder keg" not "pound cake". 😂 Alec Baldwin shot to death cinematographer, Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust. The prop gun was actually loaded. Amazing that the the two of them missed the reference to Biggie and Tupac altogether. They should have the lyrics out in front of them if they want to properly judge this awesome work.
Lol bring that shit back & still don’t get it haha that made my day
"that made up for that diddy bar" wtf? That was the hardest diddy flip anyone has ever used.. I fw the reaction but that line u said kinda pissed me off hahaha
You guys are missing to much. There's so much going on
Damn the whole Em verse went over their head 😂
How bout that Diddy bar now 😂😂😂 like come on yall should have known that.... maybe not young gun but like the vid keep it up
I came to the comments for this. He was spittin facts
Most of the reactors need to read the dictionary a few more times and try this album again. Em requires it.
Haleena Hudgens was the woman that Alec Baldwin accidentally killed on set after a gun that was supposed to be filled with blanks had live rounds in it.
I give you all an A for effort, but Em is too much for ya’ll.
Insane take to say the p diddy bar wasn’t good, one of the most crazy bars ive heard lol
Yall need to get the lyrics and go back cuz it clearly went over your heads. And at this point in eminem's existence people are STILL surprised with his lyrics. He literally started off with from the time you press play you're liable to catch strays. Yall failed miserably. And dude on the right kept talking TF
Are you kidding me no Diddy you don't know what Diddy s done unbelievable
Annina Hutchins is the lady that got accidentally shot by Alec Baldwin and she passed , making the movie rust.. He just beat the case., RIP ANNINIA 🙏🙏🙏
