This brutal scene of Cogman was cut from Transformers 5. During the events of The Last Knight we got introdused to a multitude of characters. But 1 of the most interesting robots would have to be Cogman. The elogent yet hyper violent robot who packs a huge punch despite his small frame. He was also the Butler of Edmon Burton and safeguarded generations of Witwiccans for seven centuries, protecting and maintaining the family's collection of secret artifacts. But he was originally meant to be even more than just a hired robot hand. Cogman was supposed to be a Headmaster which is a smaller robot who transforms into the head of a larger robot. In a cut scene Nitro Zeus was supposed to get his head tore off from his body by Cogman, who could commandeer the headless body like a transtector. But it was considered too violent and ultimately went unfilmed. However, the respective toys retain the ability to swap heads.

Bro literally everything besides Optimus killing the Decepticons was brutal bro honestly the way Optimus kill the Decepticons is nothing serious at all because they do the same thing in Rise of the beats another Transformers games and plus they ask for it it just shows how capable of a warrior Optimus is and doesn't fuck around

Not just Optimus. Bumblebee, also has his share of brutal moments. Ripping a robot cougar in half and then using the remains as a weapon. Kicking a decepticon to the point it rips out their arms and nearly took out its head. Punching upward through Soundwave and then blasting them right in the face

I did find it funny how The Last Knight had established that Cogman was a Headmaster Transformer, and yet he never transformed into a head and combined with that car that he and his master drove in. And yes, according to the Studio Series lineup of toys, Cogman was capable of combining with that car, of which he would've become the head of this Transformer.
Also, I finds it incredibly hypocritical that Cogman using the severed body of a decapitated Decepticon was ultimately cut, when virtually every Michael Bay Transformers film has at least one scene with someone getting their head ripped off. I mean, one of the truly gruesome deaths in these films had Optimus kill Bonecrusher by stabbing, and ripping, his head clean off. And what about the scene where Optimus killed that Blackout lookalike by literally ripping his head in two?
Tbh i feel like they thought that Cogman controlling a Decepticon corpse was the gruesome part, rather than Nitro Zeus' death itself. Still a stupid decision to cut it out tho
Agreed 💯 and the helicopter character you were talking about is Grindor! Although I really couldn't tell a difference between, I mean in Transformers Prime we had Dreadwing and Skyquake! The only difference between them was color so I wonder why they renamed him instead of maybe make it like they did with Megatron that he was hurt badly but not killed. Now I have the tlk cogman figure and his head is a micromaster but I'm with you they could've at least let him take a body it really wouldn't have been anymore graphic than any other scene. Hell they could've made it to where he just took the dead body and made it become a new form for him. That would have made for one helluva cool story arc.

You forgot to mention the scene in Dark of the Moon where Optimus ripped Megatron's head (followed by his spine) right out of the socket. Hmmmm 🤔. Nah! No violence in that scene whatsoever.
