And I try to always remember a scripture that my dad told me when things in our family seemed to be at what we thought was the bottom, that I’ve taken into account in my own family.
2 Tim 2:3we must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. “
God never said this journey was going to be easy, but he said we can have peace through it. That he would never leave us during the fight. So if anyone else is struggling with your family or faith like I am, please comment below so we can pray for one another. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember to lift each other up.

I'll jump on this! I've really been struggling to feel close to God right now as well, my depression/anxiety have been getting worse since quarantine started. For some reason I can't bring myself to play worship music, prayer journal, or read the Word. It makes me feel guilty, like I'm a 'fake Christian' because I don't do those things when I'm on my own.
The only thing that helps me to feel a little less guilty is remembering that "The Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18) and "a brushed reed he will not break" (Isaiah 42:3). Even in the midst of all this trouble and feeling disconnected, I have peace with the knowledge that He is still beside me even when I can't feel it as much.
When ocean made his "mess" on the bench, I was like when I have kids someday...this is gonna happen lol. Which is fine lol. Love your family and your faith so much. much love! ❤️👍🏻

Seeing you two with a bible and hearing you use your platform for God's glory. That's a WOW in and of itself. That just made me so happy. Thank you for doing that.
Also, without getting into too much detail, I do kind of have a prayer request. Basically, I recently had this incredible opportunity to better myself as a singer and learn about myself as an artist, but I've also faced some personal challenges that have gotten in the way of that growth. It's not that I doubt God is sovereign and over these challenges, but it's more a battle of mental health. I have the two sides of my mind: the spiritual side which is trying its hardest to feed me with the truths of God's Word, but then there's also the "human side" that feels frustration, self-doubt, anxiety and so forth. So my prayer is that the spiritual side - the TRUE side - would win that battle and that I would RESET my mindset and REST in the truths that will never fail.

I was a big fan of both of you growing up, and I even got to meet you Carlos! I am so happy I found you again. Even though I am Jewish, I stayed and listened to your WOW. I am always open to learning and understanding others' faith because my friends that aren't jewish have always learned about mine. The words you speak are applicable to everyone and not just those who follow christ, just like when my Rabbi gives his sermon he tries to focus on everyone (including the atheists or agnostics in the crowd). I brought the conversation up with my family at our dinner table and it really grounded us during this pandemic and like you said "it is a perspective switch". So thank you for teaching me about your religion and for helping me find my roots in my own
