I love the slow shots with the music, and especially the couple of little shots in the silence of the canyon as you approach the rings. I'll never get over just how still and quiet it can be out there. Great work!
I'm so glad you liked how everything turned out in this video. It's a beautiful area, and I wanted to do my best to show it off as best I could. Thank you so much for watching!
Yeah, Randy, you definitely 100% have to check this awesome hike! You will absolutely love it! I was very thankful to get recognized on the trail! Really appreciate it, brother 🙏
that's great you got recognized... yeah there is a big ranch out there still, several smaller properties too.. great video this is one of my favorites/ the longer barber peak loop is also well worth the effort/ it goes around the peak not up it. Nice to see your high quality imaging of one of my favorites thanks for sharing
Yeah, it always comes as a surprise. When I get recognized like that on the trail, lol 😆. Yeah, I'll have to go back out there and do that Barber Peak Loop! I can totally see why this is totally one of your favorites!! Thanks brother 🙏.
Hey you celebrity ❤😅 I was the first one to ever recognize you way before your big days lol😂. That was an amazing canyon Eric. Jaw dropping. Really nice slot canyon.
Yes, you were the first one to recognize me on the trail. Thankfully, we became good friends after that! Yeah, this is an awesome place to hike, and I'm glad you enjoyed what you saw on this video. Thank you so much, Nicole. I really appreciate it!
Woah! Famous Eric! That's awesome to hear my friend. It is great to hear that your videos are reaching people. That's the point of making videos - being able to help someone out! Oh! The rings are really cool. This looks like it would be a fun hike to do in person.
Yeah, it was nice to be recognized on the trail like that! It surprises me when it happens! It is definitely a totally fun trail to hike!! Thanks, Josh! 👍
*_So this is the Mojave National Park, that's what I often hear about..., it's really amazing, what are those holes in the wall formed by...?, I like it. Greetings with me Rudy from Indonesia_*
that was cool that someone from your channel recognized you, I was wondering why it was called the ring trail and now I see, that must of been so much fun climbing up the narrow canyons using the rings to help and odd all the holes in the rock walls ( you picked the right music to set the tone of the video ) till the net one take care brother
I'm glad you thought the music worked out well for this video! It was really cool being recognized like that, especially since I didn't see too many people on the trail, lol. Yeah, it was such a unique area to hike through, and I did enjoy climbing the rings and going through the slot canyons. Thanks, Craig! I can always count on you, my friend!
The bird that makes those holes are called rock peckers check with trail mater ask Mike about the rock peckers you can also get shirts and stuff from what I heard.
How far is this hike from Mitchell Caverns? There are two tour times 11am and 2pm. I was wondering if our family should do the hike first and then make our way to cave. Your input is greatly appreciated.
It's around a 1/2 hour drive from Mitchell Caverns to Hole-In-The-Wall. That's exactly what I did was go to the cavern's first and then hit the Hole-In-The-Wall after. Make sure you call them and make a reservation beforehand for the caverns because I heard if they fill up, they won't take you as a walk-in. I think it's better to do the Hole-In-The-Wall afterwards. That way, you're not rushed, and you can take your time with it because it's really cool and you're gonna want to take a lot of pictures. I hope this was helpful, and if you have any other questions, just let me know. Thanks for checking out the video as well.
@@adventuringoutdoorswitheric I got tickets from CA State Park. Did you make a stop at Kelso Dunes? Google map can't calculate the drive from Hole in the Wall. It's looks like an hour??? Maybe I'm squeezing too much: cave tour, ring trail, and dune exploring in one day. I'm going end of February. Let me know your advice. Thanks for your time.
Do you live in Las Vegas like I do, and you are making a day trip out of it? When I went, it was a separate time to the Dunes. It is possible to do it all in a day, I think. But it's gonna be a long day, and you have to have the energy for it. Also, for navigation, there is absolutely no cell service inside the Mojave National Preserve. It's a huge dead zone.
Wow, what an amazing trail. The sunlight makes the scenery even more beautiful. 👍🙂
Yeah, it was a beautiful sunny day, luckily! Great hike, and I am glad you enjoyed seeing it! Thanks for watching!
As always, spectacular scenery.

Thank you so much! Yes, I always play it safe! 🙂
