I'm always amazed that following Lucy for years I'm looking at a young person who's largely still at school... now as then a beautiful looking young woman with a superbly breathtaking voice.
Great reaction Zack! This was wonderful! And only 15 years old!
I wish she would sing more upbeat songs like this.
It has been said that Lucy could sing phone book and it would be beautiful. I believe it!
Best regards, Hopelessly Addicted in Arizona
I like her more engaged like this. 💜💜💜
Excellent performance for a pop song. Lucy beautifies another relatively empty song. Great job Lucy!!
Like you have stated Zach Lucy makes every song sound more beautiful she is such a treat to listen to.
Lucy was still 15 when she recorded this in November 2019. She notes herself that it was a change of style for her. Her latest Don’t Walk Away is probably the nearest but delivers the subject matter in a far less upbeat way.
She has such a nice tone and makes this song sound so easy ❤
I have never heard the song before. I like it and Lucy did a really good job with it. That was different. Pretty cool.
WOW, I Lucy cover that I haven't heard. This girl is amazing! I love her voice and she's so easy on the eyes. Thank You Zack.
Just a thought but for a complete contrast to this and others, Lucy released on UA-cam a live version of Etta James's "AT Last" at her first ever full on concert in Manchester. A Jazzy blues number that shows how Lucy can adapt he voice to any genre she chooses and with ease. Also she demonstrates her power in this one.
Fun! Thanks, Zack - this is the first fast-beat pop song I've ever heard from Lucy. Pop with a country edge. She looks 16 or 17 here. She needs to do some originals like this today as she is ignored by the Grammys year after year (as they reward absolute junk).
Wow this could be her SONG easy
Great stuff Zack - Thx for posting. Not really my genre or favorite song - but I could listen to her sing this for hours. Everytime I hear her sing this one I end um humming it for 3 days - (thx for that - LOL) She really has some Gems from her younger years "Memory" - "Writings on the wall" etc.... I know you will get to them - take care
Hey Justin. that's how you sing this song. Lucy does it every time -- somehow manages to improve everything she sings
Hi Zack.A younger Lucy here .Her Voice is so beautiful and controlled. She was amazing then now she is the best. Thanks for your continued support for Lucy.
Lucy can sing any type of song : Rock, pop, country, ..She knows very well all what is published in the music industry.
She, only, prefers to sing classic, beautiful balads.♥️👍🥰
By the way, I think, it was recorded at her home during the covid
Hello Zach, once again thank you for supporting Lucy on your reaction channel, "10,000 Hours " I believe is a country song, this song was an experimental song by Lucy when she was younger to see how she sounded singing country music. Like you say no problem she could sing the telephone directory, I would Lucy to appear on the Carrie Underwood show now that would be a treat. I believe Lucy is having another Concert in Liverpool UK in May 2025. so I hope they video the concert, there is a recent video out of Lucy & Martha live on stage in London singing a song from the musical " Rosie " Take care, Barbara.
I love this cover because it’s evidence that Lucy can more than hold her own with an uptempo song. I would love to hear more of this type of song from her and I am actually surprised that she hasn’t done more “poppy” type of music in order to appeal to a younger audience. Not sure if you have reacted to Lucy singing I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing or her duet with Martha of The Climb, but I can’t recall anything else that isn’t a ballad type of song, although I might have missed one or two. ❤
Lucy needs a pop or country hit to get wider attention and more opportunities. This shows that she could easily do it.
Zach, Listen and She Used to be Mine. Mandatory. Not an option.
Lucy singing 'rap'?no problem!😊
jep 👍
I hope not John.
lucy thomas has new song out with will collon
Did you read her comments to the song? Somehow it didn't result in more of this.
I haven't.. no.
