    Hello sir thanks for your vid.. I have found one that is from 1989 and is running okay, my question is are they easy to fix ?? and to maintain I love the vintage look and I am getting it for cheap

      Almost everything I have done on this bike is on my channel. I think I'm in to this for around $300.00 so I would say that's cheap. I found it very easy to work on. I have not removed the wheels yet. I think I will do that next summer.
      Thanks for watching.

    Would this same oil change work for a 92 Yamaha Riva?

    I just got one of these and the only problem with it is that the air boot manafold, we do not know where it goes. Can you make a video debunking the intake and the air boot hose location? P

      I'm not sure I understand the question. Traditionally a manifold goes between the carburetor and the engine. If you watch my first video about my river you may see how I installed mine and it may help clarify your question. Good luck and thanks for watching.

    How to repair beluga 125 engine

    Great video... I have a 96' Riva Razz which I think is less powerful than this one. . . ? Not sure, but the Razz is a blast. What's the top speed on this particular moped? The Razz is about 35ish. Shes a beauty!

      With a 125cc engine and me at 240lb it tops off at 60mph. Solid 54 to 55 mph. I think yours is 49cc. Top speed in my town is 35mph so that's all you need. Thanks for watching.

      Question for you.. I am posting Motorcycle / Repair videos on Wednesday and Monday Memories on Mondays and Motorcycles test rides of Fridays. Kind of like a real TV Channel. Do you like, dislike or don't mind the mixed content I am providing?
      Thanks, your reply will drive my content decisions

    Also my riva seems to be way to advanced. It seems it's always reved up. Even at idle. Seems like I'm giving it gas but I'm not. Can u make a video on how to adjust the throttle

    • @JamitinThereRepair
      @JamitinThereRepair  3 роки тому +1

      I had a bad throttle cable and mine did the same thing. When you let go of the throttle it should snap back. Check your return spring as well. If you are running the OEM Carb I can't show you. The cable has 3 adjustments. 1 at the grip end of the cable. 1 at the other end of the cable. And the stop screw on the carb. The first 2 should leave you with about 1/8 inch of free play in the outer casing of the cable. With that set you can turn the idol screw out to lower the RPM's
      Good luck

    Did u find the oil filter location?

    • @JamitinThereRepair
      @JamitinThereRepair  3 роки тому

      I have not. I did discover I should use 20W 40 Oil and 10W 40 in winter. So I change the the oil again using Rotella 15W 40.

    Hey! I got a Beluga/Riva 125 92', its very weak so im going to test the compression tomorrow. What do you consider a good compression being? What compression do you have?
    Have a nice day! Greetings from Sweden

    • @JamitinThereRepair
      @JamitinThereRepair  3 роки тому

      I have never tested my compression. I think anything between 110 psi and 150 psi will let it run. Remember to hold the throttle wide open when you run the test. Look up the valve adjustment procedure for best performance.

    • @thebehemoth1998
      @thebehemoth1998 3 роки тому

      Definitely rec valve adjustment. Check your charging system too.

    What do you think one of these are worth in good shape?

    • @JamitinThereRepair
      @JamitinThereRepair  3 роки тому

      I am very bad at pricing them. I think 1/2 the price of new or around $2000. If you want to sell it fast $1500. Let me know what you get.
