best backround music for reading internet arguments.
IS NOT!!!!
Curx I can agree, this is legendary! xD
Curx XD love it!
Well, come to think of it, a great deal of them do sound like stuff Deadites would have no problem saying…
Nicholas Peters Ive met people that are even worse than the deadites
All you gotta do is mention politics
The Evil Dead: A Wacky Fun Ride for the Whole Family!!!
You got that right Steve-O!
splash mountain vibes
Definitely
Army of Darkness be like:
I love how the film ends on this song. The juxtaposition of the dark, horrific imagery throughout the film met with this happy catchy tune makes the film all the more hilarious and terrifying.
That's why Sam is so brilliant!! ❤
....One of the best end credits of all times.
I heard this on another horror movie & I can’t remember which one!
@@13DarkMelody I think Dawn of the Dead (original)
@@The3rdGunman
That’s what I was guessing 😎
@@The3rdGunman that was a song called The Gonk if I recall correctly, the two sound similar
I loved how they returned to this for the end credits for the Ash vs Evil Dead season 2 finale.
I love upbeat music at the end of horror movies. For me it makes them all the creepier when played after such a blood filled and grotesque film like this (Dawn of the Dead was another). Anyone else feel this way?
soundtrack of dawn of the dead is very good
Yo también tengo esa sensación
Groovy
Putting this song in Evil Dead is what's known as great film-making. Just perfect!
The Shining's another great example. The combination of the music and the slow pan to the picture frame just gives off a very unsettling feel. And I'm not really a fan of 'Jeepers Creepers' movie(s) but the song itself is very foreboding in the context of a horror film.
its good but it sounds better in the movie when it echoes out in the end credits.
And then the buzzing flies that leave you with a weird feeling.
Season 2 just finished the same way!!!
LordRaiden112 words cant describe the feeling i got when i heard this in AVED :D
Yeah, after slowing down, then the flies buzz around what you know are the decaying remains of Ash's former friends.
this was on the Gramophone in the cellar. It's a library piece (free public domain) I use to have this when I worked in sound - when I heard it in Evil Dead I was floored lol
Okay, someone needs to do a mash-up of this and The Gonk from Dawn of the Dead.
5 years late, but your wish is my command:

@@jrichard88 I asked for the gonk once at a party when I was 10 or something. I specified the Dawn of the dead version and it played some goofy rap song and then I felt like a dumbass
Yay,I was just searching for this track as I finished watching the original THE EVIL DEAD movie on here and LOVED this Jazzy theme at the end! lol
*As a Greek friend of mine once said... He said, I... no, okay okay okay. 'Nis... nis tu, tu, tu... tu-ta-rim'!*
Which means? PARTY DOWN!!
Love the original and best evil dead
Thanks to evil dead i can never think of this track the same way again
:blood dripping from the ceiling, the projector and the light bulb: :D
"Shut up Linda!"
I heard this in Creepshow.
Josh Thomas "Bastards". "There isn't gonna me anymore damn bugs!"
sarnow76 you text them.
Segment They´re creeping up on you.
I like how the text says ,,THE MOST FEROCIOUSLY ORIGINAL HORROR FILM..., THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE IN GRUELLING HORROR" and then there is this theme :D
"Hit her! Hit her!! HIT HER!"
*"HIT IT!"
This is one of the best songs used in a horror movie.
This is just groovy!!
FREEKIN SWEET! been searching for this song forever. thank you so much... i needed a song to play before my metal band takes stage, and this is the best possible song ever... you rock!
my favorite closing shot of a film ever
"I have seen the dark shadows moving in the woods, and I have no doubt that whatever I have resurrected through this book is sure to come calling for me." I think I was about 12 years old when my pop introduced me to evil dead, and of course it scared me at first but years later it became part of a Halloween movie marathon tradition every year now I just appreciate the filmmaking of it in every aspect especially the memories, I love you pop thanks for showing me classics like this and showing me not to be afraid, movies like this are what made me want to entertain and be creative movies video games anything music anything if I could bring joy to people my life would be worth it and my apologies for the long tangent, but things like this just bring those thoughts out of me, everyone stay safe and stay awesome!!! Also, the fact that they brought this song back at the end of season two of ash versus evil dead I agree was perfect, anyway stay awesome guys!!!
Would've been great to hear this at the end credits for the remake
Eraserhead has some very unnerving organ music by Fats Waller in it as well, including the credits.
After the scenes i saw... this song appeared perfectly. This song made only one mind: "have fun to digest this traumatic scenes"... Sadly that no scene is able to shock me nowdays. Awesome Movie
Imagine if you and your friend finished watching The Evil Dead and heard this song at the end, and then your friend just started dancing to it, and you're thinking : WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
He twists his head at you:
"- CARE FOR A DANCE MAURICE? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Lets dance!"
it's Friday, i have no work and I'm learning this on my balalaika.
Well it's Saturday now
We're gonna get you... we're gonna get you..... *shut up!!!! *shut up!!!!!
Me. The Shining also ends with an upbeat ballad, 'Midnight, The Stars And You'.
I love The Evil Dead as well as the rest of the trilogy and Ash Vs Evil Dead!
Just finished watching Creepshow and heard this song in it. Had me thinking back to one of my favorite horror movies, Ah.... I love this song
Yeah that's a deliberate reference. The cockroach story.
groovy
Stay classy!
The song was also used for the opening of "They're Creeping Up On You segment in Creepshow.
Groovy!!!
Oh my God, someone finally found it...I remember this from the cockroach scene in Creepshow as well. Been trying to find it for soooo long, thank you!
An upbeat, happy song used almost exclusively in horror movies. xD
What goes through my head when I see someone failing horribly in a game
It should play over a montage of that
Thank you! Don't ask me why, but this has been one of my reoccurring earwigs ever since I saw the film :D
I actually found a way to tweak the song and make it sound like the one from the original movie: I downloaded the song, put it into Final Cut Pro X, located the Pitch audio effect, pitched the sound to 0.4, then customized the speed to 110%. Bam!
I’m trying to do the same in Adobe Soundbooth with pitch and timing with mixed results. I can’t seem to get both right at the same time. Do you have a link where I can download it myself?
I love this catchy little number!
Every time I walk anywhere I listen to this and dance uncontrollably.
thanks i was looking for it
Scariest film ive ever seen a masterpiece of one genius And his name is SAM RAIMI!!!
The funny thing is that the first time you see this movie it's soo disturbing and scary and then the credits start to roll with this funny and unfitting song.
That claymation is the best part fuckin love that shit THE EVIL DEAD EVIL DEAD II an Army Of Darkness only trilogy that matters 🤘🏼🔥💯🖤💀🍻
This is the only site where i can listen this song thanks, why anybody's upload it?, but thanks to you really
I want this as my mobile ringtone !
this music makes me into good mood :D
We're gonna get you
We're gonna get you
We're gonna get you
For such a ferocious horror movie, the last thing that you would expect is this music at the end but Oh it is sooooo wonderful :) \m/
Creepshow: "They're creeping on you" :)
``when its not even bug proof''~E.G Marshell 1982
here, here!
Great song was also in creepshow 3 but evil dead was the first ever film that piece of music came from
Well, the first time it was used in a horror movie.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Searched for title & composer so f***inglong!! At last...:D
Heads are going to roll....I promise ya that...Oh yessss
God damn bugs!
I've heard this on CHESPIRITO!! :D
This would make a great backing track for a clip show of all the times Ash gets his ass handed to him and acts like an idiot throughout the movies and show.
Groovy.
I was watching spongebob today and noticed a strikingly similar song used in the pilot and the square shorts mini movie. It’s practically the same song
Chespirito Al Estilo del Cine Mudo: El Payaso (1994)
The trees, Ash... they know.
Whenever things begin to go seriously and repeatedly to hell in my life this song starts to play in my mind. Funny thing...
Lofi: music to kill deadites to
Join uusssss!
Thatonegaydude
But even still, horror movies with unfitting songs just make it more creepy. It's like they're questioning your sanity or something.
Or, "Hey movie's over so let's listen to some string band tunes!" Like it was nothing at all. It brings you back to reality.
You're not gonna leave me are you..... Are you Ash hahahahaha 😈
@xwin9 They could have easily left the first film as a standalone horror film. They could make it appear Ash had died. But wheres the fun in that
Chespirito Al Estilo Del Cine Mudo El Payaso (1994)
Felt the same way watching the overwhelmingly disgusting Last House on the Left by Craven. That movie has some funky-ass soudntrack. lol
I love how that movie can just show the most graphic and terrible shit happening to our main character, then just cuts to whacky goofy shit with music that features kazoo as an instrument
indeed it was. I don't know what 1981 and 1982 have to do with a song that came out way before the 80's
This tune belongs in The Three Stooges
Tamás Versitz That's probably not a coincidence.
Since raimi is a stooges fan
Well, Raimi does love the Stooges.
Ending where the stooges just kill each other in a silly way while this plays
....... groovy
Let`s Dance !!!
wher'd u fine this (plesae reply
fucking mood whiplash much XD
No, Creepshow came out in 1982. This movie came out in 1981.
You have never been so true!!
Can anyone help me find this song on Spotify, its proven difficult for me.
This reminds me of music from Wallace And Grommit when they were building a rocket
This is my zombie apocalypse song xD
Wassa Matta Mr Pratt? BUGGGGGGGGGS GOT YER TONGUE?
Just Watched "The Evil Dead" last night with my 15 year old kid. she thought it was lame!
I watched it at 13 3 years ago And i thought it was pretty good
And the composer is Erik Markman.

Is this royalty free?
Somebody please tell me this song is in public domain
I laughed when Light Bulb bust
You does teh things, and u kills teh Titans.
Ok answer me this what does this have to do with ATTACK ON TITAN
I'd love to use this in a project sometime. Any idea where I can buy the license to use it?
At this point, the recording is so old it might be in the public domain. The sheet music definitely is. The song came out in 1921, IIRC.
La terrifiante version originale du générique de fin, par un certain Erik Markman.
Erik Markman & Ed Wolfrum - Charleston
Wasn't this in Creepshow first during the "They'll Creep Up On You" Segment??
*quietly makes snk reference*
What cd did you get this off of?
+flyingelephantwalrus You could likely find it on the internet archive or at least a version of it.
YOUR NAME'S SEAN BEAN!
