Love the content bro! You're really talented and and I get really inspired watching you. Someday I'll be on your level 😃
Thanks bud. Appreciate your support of the channel. 🙏
You got the game for sure. Scrambling was crazy impressive and the putting is great, just not getting many wanting to drop on those days. I could see a 7 or 8 under easy through these two days if some putts dropped and you didnt have the lefts!
Thanks man. I agree with your breakdown. It was close, but not quite there.
Excellent content! I feel like the mental aspect of golf is the final frontier! Obviously, guys like James can flat out play, so it’s not the swing. Meditation, breathing, and concentration are fundamentals.
You are absolutely right. Though I am struggling with some technical aspects of my swing right now the mental side is way more important and often ignored. Poor technique and a good mental approach can still yield good results. Great technique and a poor mental approach can not.
Thanks for watching! 🙏
Keep at it! Clearly, you’re enjoying the journey and you have an awesome support system.
Have you ever heard Zach Johnson talk about acceptance? He said, there is only one of four outcomes for every shot you hit. You hit a good shot and get a good result. You hit a good shot and get a bad result. You hit a bad shot and get a good result. You hit a bad shot and get a bad result. No matter which one, you just have to accept it, move one, and hit the next shot.
@@arthurford829 Yes, I remember reading that. He’s absolutely right.
And you’re right, I am loving the journey even though it has its fair share of ups and downs. Regardless of the destination I’m on for the ride.
Great video! You putted very well but just had a bunch of close misses. Your game looks great.
Thanks John. Appreciate the support! 🙏
Enjoy the videos you have put out so far. Love and respect the grind.
I appreciate that bro. Thanks for the support! 🙏
J aime bien voir un gars de chez nous pratiquer un sport difficile de façon professionnel. Patience et persévérance est quide de succès !👍
Merci Michel. C'est tres gentil.
Wow your distance control on putts is “really” good. Also, weather, length of course, travel …. impressive! Keep up the grind. Fun to watch. Full set of tournaments coming my way…🙌
Thanks Jeff! Appreciate your support as always. Good luck with your events! 💪
Thanks so much for such effort in a thorough presentation of your experience. It goes far beyond what I would expect from someone that already has so much on their plate. In that regard, you're the man. As far as alignment goes, I've always used a Nicklaus type of spot alignment system and it's always worked very well for me as long as I was very diligent in adhering to the process, since it's so easy to get tricked by your eyes or feels. Cheers.
Thanks Tim. I appreciate that. I also use a spot system, like Nicklaus, however something in my process has gotten lost. Work in progress, as always.
Great content has always! Love to follow your progress and give a hand!
Thanks brother! It’s been a pleasure having you on the journey. This is just the beginning!
Very impressive and inspiring !
Thank you ❤️
I liked the video and subscribed
Thanks Zach. I appreciate that my man. 🙌
👍👍James
Merci Jean! 🙌
Do you do in game adjustments when you find yourself starting to consistently miss left ? Or do you just aim a bit more to the right and look to fix it after the round is over ?
I try to make adjustments without giving myself too many technical thoughts. I will adjust my target depending on where the trouble is though. For example, if there is water left and I have been missing on that side then I will aim a bit more right to take it out of play as much as possible.
When are we going to see you on tv? Rooting for you
Hopefully soon! Appreciate the support. 🙏
Sounds like you have a sponsor who may take care of all the entree fees travel etc. but how are you making a passive income? I am trying to do same route you are but how are you making money as you’re playing these tournaments
I do have a couple of sponsors, but their contribution is limited. At this point the majority of what they have contributed has already been accounted for in tournament expenses. I give lessons to pay the bills and help cover the rest of the associated tournament costs.
James, I like your content and you as a person...but I think your demeanor has got to change if you want to play your best. You're yelling/cursing/dropping clubs after a bad shot or unlucky bounce, saying things like, "I can't catch a break," "I'm not getting rewarded," getting bothered by not holing longer putts, venting frustration about weather conditions and focusing on how the tournament runners are doing their jobs ("We all came here to play two days says so I hope they make every effort to to let us play"). Doing one or two of these is understandable, but between your day-of behavior and the tone of your voiceover it just seemed like you were in a negative headspace during this event, and nobody can play well when that happens. If you conserve your mental energy by letting go of the things you can't control (Weather, bad bounces, tourney administration, etc) you'll feel less exhaustion at the end of these rounds and avoid burnout which, considering all the things you're doing in your life, is a distinct possibility. Thanks for the upload, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks for your comment. I can’t disagree with anything you have stated. My mental state during this event was very poo. Unfortunately I was bordering on burning out when it was filmed and when I recorded the voiceover I was sick. Just a rough stretch for me unfortunately.
Thanks for supporting the channel. I have been focusing on resting and recovering so that I can maintain a more level and present mental approach to my next events.
@@jamescolindavisgolfLike other viewers I enjoyed your content and voice over….as you know golf will always balance itself out….hang in there and witness the karma
@@jefflukas6885 thanks Jeff. Appreciate the support my man. 🙏
I feel like your club selection at certain yardages are too weak. You need to club up and play the shot more in balance instead of forcing clubs
That’s interesting because I very rarely force clubs.
