Honestly I don’t know how Keisha didn’t try to have a solo career, her voice is so strong, she could really wipe the the floor with so many current vocalists, her voice is so polished and her technique is on point
That’s what my sugababies tell me so I’m curious as to why Keisha didn’t try solo withers I’ve only heard she has done some cameos for UK artists but that’s it
@@Werdnasings she tried but I think she dealt with a lot of colorism around the time she got kicked out of the sugababes because she spoke about how after the sugababes she was basically told by labels that no one wanted to hear a Black woman do pop which messed with her self esteem for a long time
Oh sis! None of us loved Flatline on the first listen but give it a few listens and it will be one of your all-time favourite records trust me! Love that you did the acoustic too and continue to value these girls sensational soulful vocals and harmonies. Fun fact the Sugababies did a campaign called #flatline1million to get 1 Milli Spotify streams and 1 milli UA-cam views on the official video in 2019 to create hype of their comeback before we knew there was a comeback or about them getting the Sugababes name back (or the release of Flowers). We succeeded and within weeks the song and video were removed from all streaming and downloading services Inc UA-cam but as Keisha would say "We got receipts!"...on Instagram haha! Excited for you to explore the Heidi era and the inevitable Versus for Freak Like Me! #justiceforflatline
I liked Flatine on the first but they added way too much production IMO on that chorus and it just went downhill from there.
I am literally gagged that Heidi is introduced to us on a nasty song. Lawd, I don’t know what I’m going to do when I react to it 😂

I’ve always loved this song since it first dropped. I feel like they were going for more indie-pop than full Pop which is why they went with this Dev Hynes produced track (coming off the monster blogosphere successes of Sky Ferreira’s Everything Is Embarrassing and Solange’s Losing You).
Please tell me you've seen/heard them sing the live acoustic version of flatline their voices are unreal

I love when you do a vocal break in the middle of the reaction. Super smooth voice. I sing myself but I’m a bit jazzier with my sound, people say I sound like Nat King Cole, not bad for a Blue eye blonde haired white boy I think.

it was originally recorded with mutya's vocals, but she left after push the button so red dress was re-recorded and released with amelle's vocals.
i prefer mutya's version, cause she makes it sound more sixties (just like tony clarke's 'landslide' which is sampled in the song)
But before you do, theres one song in the heidi formation you didnt react to. Its called in the middle.

I prefer the acoustic version. The original was a good reopening song as its similar overload, but tbh its a bit boring, but it’s their og sound.
They should’ve kept it simple when it came to the chorus! They added too much and it just made the song sound like two different genres
