My featherweight started clanking but runs smoothly without the bobbin. I’ve changed bobbins, made sure the bobbin race finger is in the correct position & it still clanks some. Not sure where to go from here.
My tension is set between 3 and 4 and won’t move any further to the left. Should I oil it. Haven’t serviced it in 25 years. I’m sewing on flattened toilet paper roll. Bobbin thread seems good.

I think I dropped the gib screw in my featherweight! Anyway to know how to get it out😭the needle won’t go down. Thx u
