  • We are fly fishing Alberta Canada on the Livingstone River in Alberta, using nymphs, dry flies and emergers to catch and release scrappy Cutthroat trout. We get a cool cloudy day in August which seems to help with insect hatches and fishing.

You guys always do such a good and fish friendly release of anything you catch.

What a shame about the proposed coal mines in theese headwaters. You guys should write a letter to the environment minister and link your videos. Poisoned river equals no more cutthroat fishing.

unfortunately small fish numbers seemed down last year probably whirling disease.

I am not an expert but I think the West slope is a specific variety of Cutthroat.
