Students give sneak peek tour of Rancho San Juan High School

Salinas Union High School District Superintendent Dan Burns hosted the first annual Superintendent’s Summit at Rancho San Juan High School on Wednesday morning.
The event took place inside the shiny and pristine smaller gymnasium at the district’s fifth and newest high school in the area.
Burns shared recent accomplishments by the District and focused on sharing “Champion” moments over the past year, including strategic goals for the future.
And guests of the summit created a lot of buzz after the presentation, too, when a group of ASB Leadership students from Rancho San Juan High gave a tour of the new campus.
Phillip Tabera, vice president of the Board of Trustees, along with dozens of other invited guests, including local administrators and educators, were impressed with the school.
“There’s nothing like it out there right now,” Tabera said.
