Ok Helen…..thanks for taking me down the rabbit hole.. I ordered and just received MAGICKAL CROSS STITCH book!! I’ve already tagged the pages I want to do..thanks again for enabling. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like so many of these. Deadly nightshade is so pretty. If you did the cats in the moon with really really white eyes, I wonder if they would have that glowing effect?
Enjoyed the flip thru Helen saw some unique patterns. I also saw some very interesting frames! Did anyone else notice them? There are several I'd like to do. Her first book is great too. Thank you Helen.
Thank you for showing the designs, I just saw this book the other day & couldnt find a picture of what was inside. I too love the one with the cats on broomsticks but also most of the first ones & the last one. PS. Scan the pattern in color, save it. Then open it with paint, select the image then right click & invert color. Save it that way & then you can print it. I was thinking that would work so I just tried it with the free pattern, it turns all that black background white & the leaves the motifs alone. I find working from a book awkward so I need to make copies to stitch from too.
I guess you could scan and flip the colours if you don’t like the black chart? Some lovely patterns but I can’t seem to get it here in UK. 😟Love hearing the cicadas in the background. Reminds me of many lovely holidays in France and Spain.
Thanks for the flip-thru! I will probably hold off on buying this book though since I've even yet to start on the Satsuma Street Haloween SAL which I ordered after seeing it in your videos. LOL 🎃
If only you had dimmed the lights and placed a couple of lighted candles (using battery operated ones) on the stairs with the cricket noise in the background and seeing Emmy or Pepper going up the stairs it would have been a great Halloween video for the flip through. I got my book a couple days ago and I am looking at starting the Moonlit Flight pattern too but thinking of changing the moon colors to different shades of darker orange if I do it on black fabric. Thanks for showing the book.
Thanks for sharing this! Going on my “what can my kids get me for my birthday in October” list. 😂 If not mentioned yet, Samhain in pronounced sow-en. Go figure… It’s celtic, I believe.
@@Marietnieskens there are three stores in Maine. The Crafty Grimalkin in Bangor, Camp Wool in Hollis and Lakeside Stitches in Greenville. I hope that one of them is close to where you're visiting!
Uh-oh. I must have it. Edit to add: I can't decide whether to get the paperback so I can theoretically make enlarged working copies of the charts, or the Kindle edition so I can blow up images on my screen. It looked like the paperback might have really tight binding. Helen, do you think the charts are positioned on the page in a way to scan or photocopy? And edited again because I rewatched part of the video where you mentioned the grids might be hard to see on a working copy. Lol. I was so taken by the pretty pictures that I obviously wasn't listening properly. I think I'll order the paperback and hope for the best.
Helen, thank you for the review. I like the green man.
Thank you for the flip through. Happy stitching!
Love the wheel! Thank you for sharing the nook with us 🧙♀️
That is so great, thank you so much. I love the “drying room” a lot with the kitties. It sounded like you had a cricket in your house! 😆
I LOVED hearing your cricket!! The book was also very cool!! Thank you!
Thank you Helen
Thanks for showing! Got to see your kitty climbing the stairs behind you!
Oooo, I'll have to get this one. Thank you for the flip thru. Bats, snakes and spiders ~YES. Her frames are gorgeous.
Thank you Helen for your time, love the one you’re going to start! 💚
Thanks for the flip thru.
What a beautifully creative book. The styling of each photo is amazing and the frames used in finishing are stunning. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
The charts are fantastic but what's really cool are the frames she uses in the displays. Really unique.
Thanks for the flip through. Such fun, unique patterns. Some of them do take a second look to see everything.

I ghink the spider with the orb on its back was really clever. Thanks Helen.
Thanks Helen 😊
Some really nice charts in the book. TFS.

I LOVE the Green Man SO much! BTW, Samhain is pronounced SOW-wen. That book looks like it has lots and lots of great stitches.
Thank you! I knew I was going to mispronounce something!

It was actually a really loud cricket! I didn't know if it would pick up on the microphone. 😊
@@helend.flosstubestill sounds nicely exotic 😄
Thank you for the flip though.

That is a fabulous book! Is it wrong to ask for it as a Christmas present? Asking for a friend...
Hi Helen I’m in Maine can you tell me where your lys is your needlework shop

I had no problem making a working copy, but the black background does hide the grid lines unfortunately.
@@helend.flosstube Got mine yesterday and I see what you mean but I'll find a way! Thanks for the flip-through and the feedback.

I knew I would get it wrong!
Do you have a happy cricket?
I was hearing that, too. Wondered if Helen was doing spooky sound effects for this book.
I thought there was a cricket in MY house, but then realized it was on Helen's video!!!!! LOL
I sure did! I was wondering if it would come across the microphone!
Happy Cricket
Im still waiting to see your haunted house!!
I'm plugging away on it!
Thanks for the flip through. Wish the background of the charts weren’t black 😔
I just made a working copy of the cats and moon chart and I can't see the grid lines at all 😔
@@helend.flosstube I was afraid of that 😢
