That's one way of looking at it. And I don't entirely disagree. But there's more to it. Name a big name cruiser. There really aren't any right now. Boxing fans tend to love the heavyweights, and the middleweights. But cruiserweight and anything lighter than lightweight don't really get much love. We can argue how wrong that is all we want, but it doesn't matter. So if there are no big names there to destory, how will fans know of him? "Oh man, he beat Johnny Nobody??? That's amazing!" But the moment he went to heavyweight, he started getting coverage. He was everywhere before he even challenged Joshua. He was just a victim of a low popularity weight class.

Usyk's parents were told by Doctors that he had a serious medical condition and would not live past 14 years old. He then went to pray and prepare himself to meet God. After years of determination and faith, he is now crowned Heavyweight Champion of the World. What a remarkable life story.
the first usyk fight I ever saw was the tony bellew fight, there was replay being showed late at night here in australia and I stayed up to watch it, after that fight i was a fan for sure

Beautiful. Usyk always made me eat my words.
Ukraine produces talented and amazing boxers.
Usyk is the Andre Ward of this generation. To the casual, usyk is nothing special or a big name to watch. To those who know boxing, know that usyk is a freaking monster and a half. Demolished a division with ease and moved up to challenge himself. Usyk is a master that doesn't get the love he should.
Andre Ward was a coward and cock shotter.
He ducked Bivol and Beterbieve.
Retired in his prime. And is a biased TRASH ring announcer. Just go look at him during Wilder/Fury 3 the dude looked sick when fury starched wilder.
Andre Ward was a Hypejob and only beat Kovalev bc he nut shot him
What a way to start my Friday!
The only UA-camr that I don’t skip his ads
This man is now the undisputed Heavyweight champion. 2x
Every time I watch your work it motivates me to get back to my own video editing. Love the sweet science and will never stop working to further its influence as best as I can hope to. You're the best.
We are truly blessed to watch him, in my opinion, the most complete cruiserweight boxer ever.
And now heavyweight champion!!
@@miriampoe5507 Insane accomplishment
Usyk might be the glorious return of actual skilled heavyweights. If he is able to beat Fury and start dominating the division, it would be a good thing for boxing.
Completely agree. Heavyweight division is just now getting there in terms of boxing talent with Usyk and Fury. Some good young heavies coming up too.
Watching this after he became undisputed heavyweight champ.
I fucking love Usyk.
He brought the class back to boxing.
Damn him vs Fury is going to a masterpiece
no it'll be fixed WWE garbage.
@@papalegba6759 why did they not fix his fight against Joshua?
@@punchforpound2808 lol seek professional help
@@massteral boxing is notoriously corrupt. even amateur boxing is fixed, may get thrown out of the olympics.
@@punchforpound2808 i used to work for a booky. stopped watching sport after that, it's for mugs.
Ołeksandr its already legend !!!! From Poland with Love !!!!
I love Joseph’s content, I was waiting for this documentary. What a UA-cam goat 🐐.
Things you love to see: Joseph Vincent bringing it home better than anyone else, anyone else!
Perfect timing I was waiting for you to do Usyk, if you see this can you make one on Lennox Lewis or Holyfield
Boom perfect timing
Lennox’s episode is definitely overdue
I freaking LOVE your documentaries! Now we need an update to the Lineal Heavyweight Champions video, and a Brand-New Usyk documentary, since he's now both the Lineal, and 1st ever 4-belt Undisputed Heavyweight Champion!
When Lomachenko's father is mentioned, the images shown are actually Russ Anber, trainer and cutman from Montréal. Great video!
thanks!
Usyk's parents were told by Doctors that he had a serious medical condition
and would not live past 14 years old. He then went to pray and prepare himself to meet God.
After years of determination and faith, he is now crowned Heavyweight Champion of the World.
What a remarkable life story.
Thanks for fulfilling my request my guy! Much appreciated!
The “Boom perfect timing” gets me every time 😂
Man, your work is inspiring. I never took interest in boxe until i started watching your videos. Keep em coming!!
Was gonna go to sleep cuz we'll have a big day tomorrow but guess I'm gonna watch UA-cam for 23 mins now
Need a more in depth look into the Lviv state university of "physical" culture, definitely sounds like a school for badasses
This was another great BF and only wish is was longer, keep producing amazing content across boxing and combat sports JV! 👏
And now he's fighting for his country 🔥🔥🔥 he's the real fighter
USYK my new fav heavyweight period.
As a Brit, I hope Usyk wins fucking everything. This is what true champions look like. 👌🏼 🇬🇧
Brilliant..Brilliant..Brilliant..Absolut Brill..
TEAM USYK..P4P THE GOAT..💪🏾🥊
My Opinion..!!!
Who's here after Usyk beat Fury to become undisputed Heavyweight champ? First time in over 25 years.
Thanks for doing this. I expect nothing less...as we all know...Nobody Brings It Home Like Joe Vincent....NOBODY!
Id love to see one on Mairis Briedis, who also was Usyks toughest opponent and the closest fight.
the first usyk fight I ever saw was the tony bellew fight, there was replay being showed late at night here in australia and I stayed up to watch it, after that fight i was a fan for sure
we need an undisputed heavyweight version!
Best Channel on UA-cam for me!! Many many thx for the output & keep going so I can keep watching!
I remember vaguely watching him in London 2012, then didn't keep up with his progress until i watched his Głowacki fight for the Title.. Thought Bellew was looking really strong after coming up from LH and would give him problems but after the Usyk Bellew fight i knew the guy was going to step up and be a real problem.
The level that Usyk is at is something far beyond simply Boxing... he has made his movements an Art, something so rare to see in a Cruiserweight and then Heavyweight that I can only mention/think of two names: Holyfield and the Greatest of All Muhammad Ali.
I'm in total admiration of this man's achievements. Any man who is not a fan of him will never be a friend of mine.
Agree its impossible to dislike him and he is a generational talent, just wish he was younger he would've gone down as one of the best of all time
Joe Vincent bringing the quality production in a timely fashion yet again !
Whose here after he attained IMMORTALITY 🎉
I can’t wait for the undisputed Heavyweight edition 🔥
I'm exited to see how far he can go in the heavyweight😍🔥
He gets stopped by fury but he's definitely the 2nd best champion
