  • The 2021 #AudiQ8 is the #SUV flagship for Audi. This is their interpretation of the coupe SUV that has become more and more prevalent over the years. With this design focus, the midsize two row SUV features plenty of space that its rivals will struggle to match.
The Q8 was amongst the first Audi products with their dual-screen MMI Touch user interface system and the new mild-hybridization that has found their way into countless other models.

@@simonblunden2151 great to hear. Just ordered one from California. I’m very excited. Any tips or anything I should know? Also any problems with it?

@@CoolChainx1 congrats. Mine has had a couple of issues fixed under warranty. Not sure if this is an issue for newer models. BSG crapped out and needed replacing, fuel pump recall fixed and lastly I had issues with SoS malfunction. The car is awesome but would encourage you to purchase additional warranty beyond length of manufacturer (if you plan on owning longer). You do not want to own this car out of warranty

The Matrix LED lights is what makes this SUV looks super sexy, don't know why its an option on a SUV that already cost so much, and an expensive one at that. regular LED's don't do this car justice. plus the lack of a center console storage is ridiculous this car lacks a lot of storage for a vehicle of its size, but i still loved mine

The "door pops" is because the frameless windows, who need to move slightly up/down when closing/opening the door. Hence the delay when you pull the lever.

Nice, thorough review. Worth watching. I do have a question: I see there's snow on the ground in the review, just not on the road. If you put a pair of decent snow tires on the Q8, how do you think it will handle bad, snowy roads and turnpikes during snowstorms? And how do you think it might compare to a traditional 4WD 50/50 rear/front power split vehicle like the new GMC Yukon AT4?
I live in ski country out west, so this issue is big for me. I'll be driving it all year round, good roads and bad, and all over the country, but ski season in ski country is of special importance, and the best ski days are often the stormiest, so I need to be confident I can get to and from whatever mountain I want to get to in any kind of weather.
If I get this, I'll get the Prestige, with the air suspension and additional rear wheel steering, so that might help, but I always heard how great the Audi Quattro AWD was in the snow (AWD, not 4WD), but back then it was a 50/50 rear/front split of the power, and this Q8 I've learned, though more power can be put to the front or the rear axel by the car as slippage is felt, this one does start with its normal split as rear wheel biased 60/40 rear/front split for the power. And I'm not sure how that might change things, maybe for the worse, on bad slippery, snow covered, often hilly roads and turnpikes, in snow stormy weather. Maybe you, or someone else reading this, can add your two cents on the issue? I do love this vehicle, it's look, it's size, I am a little torn between the Q8 and SQ8, but it would likely be the Q8. Thanks for any input you can provide.

I have experienced plenty of big Audi's with and without snow tires during the horrible winters I experience and the tires are always the deciding factor. Compared to traditional 4WD, AWD will always be smarter and more reactive to regular commutes or highway drives. The smaller and more affordable Audi's are front-biased AWD systems, the larger Audi have a small but constant flow of power to the rear. We like the Q8 but it lacks any driving flair, SQ8 is ow we would spend our money on a bug SUV like this.. It has style, and appeal, let's add a good exhaust note to make it thrilling

Audi will 100% be better in snow than a Yukon.

If this is mid size, what is then a full size SUV??

Basically a q7 Is an a6 and a q8 is a a7. Makes sense because the price difference is the same and you are basically getting the same. Vehicle and the difference is one is more sportier and the other just really has a third row but they handle the same.
