An Australian staying in the Philippines for an extended period of time and this is my take on Philippine life. Living solely on savings with no other income so we are attempting to grow this channel to support my lovely Filipina wife and myself.

That excavator sounds like it could use some grease.
If it is not greased each time it is used the pin holes that hold the bucket on get all egg shaped. It is very expensive to repair.

yeah I think it's already past that point to be honest haha. Filipinos are not big on maintenance they wait until something fails and then spend more on replacing stuff hahaha. it's common here I have noticed.

It’s good to live in province in Philippines, because quiet,cheaper than the City and especially no heavy traffic like in Manila very crowded🥰👍

Hi Brian. I have enjoyed your videos so far. I am planning to retire in the Philippines in a few years. What concerns me and i am sure if you know, but if you live overseas before pension age, you have to be in Australia for 2 years before you qualify.
Yes and you need to stay in Aus 2 years after receiving pension before it's portable. I have a subscriber waiting now to come back to his wife after going back to Aus to get his pension. Aus gov make it a little difficult for sure ✌️Thanks for your support here also. We really do appreciate all you guys being on board with us ✌️

As an Ex landscape construction professional, I noticed after the road laying, some of the Coconut Palms can clearly be seen with the brush cutting and may need to be re-positioned lol.
I've got my Filipina in Sorsogon, not far from Lagazpi and hoping to be there in August or there abouts so one day? we might get to catch up.
Just wondering how you're gonna go without Internet when full time ay the farm?........Cheers
I was thinking the same thing about maybe repositioning some of the coconuts as they were already planted on the land when we aquired it. I would have put them more in straight rows for asthetics but I guess planting 60 it got a little tiring so they just got put in the ground wherever. My plan for internet is to go with Starlink as they are available pretty much all over the Philippines. Thanks for the support here also. ✌️

Tips to get more vieuwers. Expats who are going to build in the PH they like to see the construction works specially about beams, rebar, stirups, floorplans. How to get a permit for building, are you working with a constructor or are you build with family ect ect.
Show us the prices of materials. Prices of labor. And what materials are availible.

Why would you go there and start a family with no funds
Why would you assume I had no funds when I came here almost 2 years ago? My financial issues are not public knowledge but my current situation is dire. Assumptions are rarely correct. Thanks for watching ✌️
Dont know what your career was in but is there any way that you could do any remote work?
Not really mate, I was a business manager in the motor trade back in Australia and my language skills are not good enough here so I will just keep working at my vlog. We have come a long way in 5 months and 2 weeks so we will just keep pushing forward. Thanks for watching white Carabao
@@AustralianinthePhilippines personally I'm going to give up machining and mfg eng. Don't have the half million usd it would take to set up a real mfg outfit. Gonna take up some real estate and probably this year get a remote business started up. Something simple that I can push of on an employee. Also want to get back into beekeeping. Been involved with my wife 8 years married 6. Had to bring her to the USA I had obligations that are more than taken care of. Oh and one of my many brother in laws hung maputi na kalabaw on me. I like it. I'm not a real big guy lol.

Keeping Bees must be extremely interesting and having fresh honey and honeycomb would be amazing. I had an old Macedonian friend who swears by sucking the honeycomb every day to keep sickness away. And they cost the pocket but cost so much more so I know. But. Things are moving fast for me at last. Ot is Alm 5 years after dad and just over 4 for mom and just over 5 for my brother(2019 was bad). Then been dealing with my sister. My adult children. Anyway obligations. Consider it done. Friend of mines wife from masbati. Ahem.
