The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson described how he had attended a thanksgiving service in St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games earlier this week.

May I just point out to you two that Harry, whilst in London last week meeting children whose parents have died in conflict whilst in the military, when asked "Where's Megan" by the children said "She can't come to London because it's too dangerous for her" How crass. At the time he knew she was hiding/lounging in the Windsor Suite at Heathrow waiting for him to join her for the faux royal tour to 'peaceful Nigeria' which is on many countries 'NO GO ' list.
How about reporting that instead of having a version of 'recollections may vary ' amongst you. We, the public have not forgotten anything.

He's been married three times and he fully participated with Diana in setting up that Martin Bashir interview and years later now is claiming he and Diana were deceived.
To be fair there was from deception from Bashir towards a number of people but yeah I wouldn't argue with the points made before that.

Charles Spencer suffered horrific abuse as a young boy at his prep boarding school (from 8 years). He recently written a book about it. He wasn’t the only one abused at that school.
His mother effectively abandoned him when he was an even younger boy (I think 3 or 4 years old). His stepmother was an absolute b!tch.
Each of those would make it difficult for him to form healthy relationships. Enduring all of them made it impossible.
His first wife was a heroin addict and alcoholic so also made that relationship very toxic.
The police are investigating what Charles Spencer had said in his book to see if there’s anybody still alive to prosecute for the endemic abuse.

They can see that he has turned the Invictus games into a vanity project for his wife and the donations to the charity have taken a dive. As for Charles Spencer his conduct to his own family has not been a shining example of family unity. Where was he for the weddings of his daughters? Why did he not give them away like all fathers do? I have a daughter that has not spoken to me or have I seen her for 13 years, I missed her engagement, wedding, and the 2 bites of my grandchild. The reason being she had just inherited a quite amount of money from my mother. When he came into her life, I advised her to very very careful on her decisions for a future with him. He had been married and divorced 3 times and each marriage lasted less than 3 years. She hadn’t spoken or made any effort to mend our relationship. She blames the entire situation on me. Do I understand King Charles bring careful. I am not a king or leader of any country and do not have my private life and comments or actions blasted all over the world. It isn’t easy experiencing this treatment from a child.

My daughter ghosted me. It is a challenge. I protected her from her abusive father for years--never divorced because I decided that I could monitor what went into her brain, mouth (food), lungs, etc better if I stayed with him instead of exposing her to him and his family without my presence. C'est la vie. La vie continue.

I have to disagree with the commentator when he said that the British people want peace between Harry and the rest of his family!! Regarding the Spencers, Harry has kept close ties with them, he walked alongside his uncle behind the coffin of his mom’s mother when she died, he made sure his aunts were in the picture at Archie’s christening, and they were also present at Lili’s christening in the US, when it came to Harry they did keep the promise made to Princess Diana.
No matter what the royal family does, their action _or_ inaction will be spun against them by those that dislike them. They just have to soldier on and the most important thing at this time is to minimize stress and strain on their health. Surely that means _no contact_ with Harry or Meghan. The family owe those two nothing. If I understand the situation correctly, however, there is much that Parliament could, and should, do create a healthier way forward: i.e. initiate the necessary steps to remove Harry and his offspring from the line of succession, remove Harry as a Councilor of State, and remove his and Meghan's Duke and Duchess titles. Imo these things should have been done long ago.
