I gotta tell you, I have a similar chocolate cake recipe that calls for a cup of boiling water to be added to the batter but I put in a cup of strong brewed coffee and it's just heaven!

2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda

24 tsp (3 sticks) (330g) room temperature butter
