Thank you for a marvellous interview. I always admired Mark for his insight and creative mind, but now I realize how much more there is to love about this guy. You're an inspiration, Mark. Thank you.
'...could be the beginnings of a game,' he said, depending on how many little characters they had? I think he was thinking about bowling the Devo Pops over with his creations!
The first time I remember hearing his name was on the show "Beakman's World", then I found out that he had been in DEVO. I also liked "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs", and several other things he did. I also collected a few of his art books.
It`s a shame that Mark walked through most of his adult life thinking that having children was a negative thing to do. It`s nice to see that he`s seen the light enough to adopt two daughters.
This is one of the best Mark Mothersbaugh interviews. Words cannot describe the genius of Mark Mothersbaugh. No doubt, he's the coolest guy ever.
There's a good one from Marc Macon interviewing him years back
i got to meet him and devo backstage at one of their concerts. super kind and gentle guy :]
His story of remembering the first time he could really *see* sounds so wonderful.
Thanks for sharing those stories, Mark. Truly a remarkable man.
Beautiful and very inspiring interview

The part about him adopting a child is very touching, thank you Mark.
I love Mark, and I LOVE Rugrats! ❤️🎶
I love that his POP!s were just heads with multiple hairs! Mark's a different kind of person.

I saw DEVO at the Bottom Line when "Are We Not Men" was released, I also saw the Plastics at Irving Plaza back in the early Eighties.
You guys need to have Mark back & make it a longer interview. This was the best on track interview & a lot in common. It just worked.
Mark has some very cool tastes. He see's the world in a very different way and is able to extract artistic values in the things he likes.

Mark is a flat-out genius -- Myopia is also a polo field.
Amazing interview!!!
Gold Circle? Maybe for the clubs?
