The crowd is full of real metalheads. I don't even know how to explain what I see at shows in the US. I remember seeing these guys back in the 80s in Long Beack, CA.
im 45. death angel is like judas priest on 'roids. im speechless and now have a new favorite band. bass player is bad ass, drummer is better than scott travis (its art so i shouldnt judge) ...FUCK YEA...lead guitarist plays a lot of kk downing type licks (n thats a compliment). DA > metallica x 1,000,000
I'm kind of bummed. I just now after being into the metal scene of LA since the 80s I am just now discovering Death Angel. This is a great instramental. I am seeing them with Testament this year. I see they only do this song partly as an opener. I wish they would play the entire song.
They always seem to perform flawlessly, but I've never heard anyone with the ability to record them decently. Even the " professional " stuff sounds like it's in a closet.
