With the end of 2022 in sight we're celebrating the 20th anniversary of Shimano Tribal with an exclusive video documenting the Tribal heritage. From the humble beginnings of Shimano Tribal's fishing gear to the international success we've achieved, this video also shows the passion and dedication of our team over the years. About Shimano Tribal
With a range of high quality clothing and luggage, Shimano were the first company to launch a high definition camouflage under the Tribal banner. Back in 2001 it was a daring move and one that was met with a certain amount of resistance by the tackle trade. But it captured the imagination of carp anglers and the huge demand quickly broke down any barriers and reticence. Carp fishing apparel changed forever.
The almost instant success put Shimano Tribal on the map, as a truly dedicated carp brand, and a market leader. The phenomenon quickly spread across Europe, leading to the launch of additional products, including rods in 2004 and the formation of Team Tribal.
