Thank you so much Gabriel! I try to keep improving with each video. Im always excited to see anyone posting comments that I can reply to and hopefully offer helpful advice/tips. Cheers!
I spent years trying to use such features. At the end, I realized that if you want to create a responsive app you have to design everything natively (meaning inside android studio).
After watching this video, i think avocode is what i am looking for. I am invision but I cannot generate codes and for the price i am paying for invision for projects it is better for me to switch to Avocode
Avocode is certainly a great deal, especially if you need to generate different kinds of code from your prototypes and it provides a simple way to inspect and export assets. Im glad that this video has helped and you should definitely try 14 day Avocode trial to see how it benefits you firsthand. What design tool do you use primarily prior to setting up your prototypes?
your video is very helpful. I started using Adobe XD recently, and i was searching for code generator from Sketch first but then i found out that if i need another license for my second laptop then i must pay $59 and in Invision i can only have 3 projects :( otherwise i must pay more, I am creative, I do UX/UI and i can't keep writing notes and instructions to developers it's time consumer and i am paying a lot, i found your video top listed for export code from Adobe XD, i will switch from Sketch to XD and from Invision to Avocode, it's great to have trial period thank you a lot @@RobertBradford2
@@amalmc Thats definitely a lot to pay for on top of the frustration in writing notes etc. I'm going to be covering some more videos in Figma this week (and next week) and I wonder if Figma will be of convenience to you and your process, as you are coming from using Sketch (it's pretty similar) and Figma gives you access to CSS, ios, and Android code, as well as commenting/collaboration, directly within the tool itself. Adobe XD may be able to solve most of your problems as well and in either case, I'm happy to help!
Im a react native and fullstack react developer and I just bought a subscription is it worth the 14? Plus for some reason I like XD over figma even though I'm just a beginner . Did I choose wisely?
Hey Jason, Avocode does give you a 14 day trial period and you can gauge the value that it brings to you based on your experience as either a solo developer or as a developer within a team (which would bring more value). I believe you made a great decision, as XD is much easier for beginners. Ill be covering Figma pretty soon actually! Thanks so much for watching and hope this helps :)
Robert, Hi there. I am a little new to all of this. Does this mean I can design away in XD then use avocode to get the files or coding needed to launch the app ?
Guys this isn't a good thing for the most of the project, you have to work on your code for build a responsive layout that allows you to perform the app on all devices you want, Avocado generate a static code, for only one device, i suggest to use it only for assets, download them and work on it on android studio, or wherever you want. PS : The main layout should be the Constraint layout.
Make a video showing how you export Fu project and hand to developers getting each element individual can is confusing as I don't know where to start from to give to the developer
Thanks @@RobertBradford2. So it's just a matter of selecting elements and it will generate it for you.. Html, CSS, JS.. everything? Is it easier enough to select all elements on all artboards for handover to developers? I already have a subscription with Adobe so Xd wasn't an extra cost and Avocode seems very reasonable price wise compared with say downloading Sketch. Would you say it's the best way to output code from protoypes?
Yes that is correct and you can scroll throught the list of languages to copy. I would actually be best to give developers the link to the avocode project so that they can not only select the elements and code that they need to export, but inspect the location of the elements on the page (for example where a button is located on the x/y axis, its size and proximity to other elements).
I do love the idea of avocode but just feel that its just easier coding it straight from xd. Avocode feels like extra step plus it has monthly subscription.
There are definitely a lot of options for coding outside of Avocode, especially with this update which includes a lot of helpful design/development plugins. The subscription model can be a turnoff, but I do feel that it is powerful and reliable, especially if you're working within a team.
@@aneki3394 Avocode is meat more of a handoff tool for developers and designers to have a much easier job of creating a full, live product. This does not teach you how to code.
HI i'm can't find on youtube, but i'm looking how to import my work on Adobe XD to wordpress - I finished all the work on XD and I want it to be "Alive" via Wordpress, but i'm not a "coder" can you help please ? Thank You
That's true you can only do it through coding. Because there are rules on the web like live text, alt tags and other programing rules you will need to learn how to program it. Though you can use Avocode to help you with some of the programing and the css style sheet. You won't have to guess the px height of something or try to figure out the right vh measurements.
Thanks for watching! Yes I can definitely see your point and it really depends on your position. If you're not regularly taking on projects/ working in a team, it may seem pricey and there are certainly some alternatives :) .
@@RobertBradford2 Seriously, maybe it's just me, I couldn't finish watching. Not that I don't like this specific song, just cannot concentrate. And I don't understand why it's necessary to have background music in a tutorial video. Maybe do a poll, see what others think.
avocode is the best for adobe xd users, it's really easy to use, especially with the drag and drop option :)
Hey Khalil thanks for watching and yes I agree so far :). It's a very convenient feature especially for pc users.

Does it generate react natice code from Adobe xd?
Cheers!
Is Invision Studio supported ?
This was so helpful thanks👍🏽
Im very happy that you found this helpful, Kristen. Have you tried using Avocode or any similar tool before?
Hi @Robbie
Does it generate HTML from the file automatically or do you have to do this manually?
Cheers!
Cait Davies Hey Cait! So Avocode generates all the code from the inspect panel and you can simply copy what you need.
Cait Davies you do have to manually select what elements that you'd like the code for
