I bought a pirate cd of this show in 1994 or 1995. It´s 2022 and UA-cam recomended me this one. Never thought there was a video record of this show. The first 30 seconds already brought me back to my teenage years. Amazing!
well from a technical standpoint, it was filmed and recorded using an analog device being 1994... a lot better at handling this setting than digital. :-)
@@kayceeyouYep, all went downhill after Punk in Drublic... Ribbed, The Longest Lube, White Trash, and Punk in Drublic are amazing, so at least their peak lasted for a while there.
i feel so blessed to have been and still be part of the "NOFX generation" roaming this earth at the actual same time as the band itself...... best. band. ever.
It's hard to put my finger on what exactly it is that makes NOFX different than the rest, but there's just something about them and their incredibly distinct sound that has done it for me since around the time of this video. It makes me so happy that they're still going, for now at least.
@@fromulusprobably the quality of songwriting and all the cool riffs mixed with the speed and catchiness. The perfect combination of aggressiveness and pop melodies
I wasn’t there, but was 24 years old and the local radio station played “Leave it Alone” and I’ve been a fan ever since… just saw the final show and this is great to relive the glory days. ❤
The Golden Era of NOFX! The Punk N Drublic Days! I used to do my homework to that album at age 14 in 9th grade. I love it! I saw them Live on this same tour in Hampton, Virginia too!
Haha I wish I could have experienced them in this era. I saw them in the 2010s and they were pretty tight but Hefe was SHREDDING here and they were so on it. Great footage. I can't believe I hadn't come across this sooner.
was at this show with all my friends... Face to Face opened for them & they were all standing outside CBGB handing out FatMusic for Fat People vol 1 after the show on CD & Cassette!
Fat Mike is really embracing those vicodin pretty hard in between songs. Those were the days, before it became a plague on the world. I too, have some great hydro/oxycodone memories from the 90's, but I wish I never tried it, sure Mike feels the same.
For the price of beer the sound man at CBGB's would always make a direct to the board live tape of any band playing there. They were usually excellent, one band I was playing with released this tape as a 45. CB's was no joke as far as sound quality after about 1977, I didn't play there until 1979 and by then it was amazing. I really miss playing there as well as going to see the Ramones or the Dead Boys there when I was still a kid. In the 80's they had all ages matinee shows that were amazing, because those kids would buy your EP or single right there, whereas the older people at the night shows were too snobby to walk around holding merchandise!
Jay Yea you're probably right. Although I did just come across a video on UA-cam of them playing a club in 2010 and they sounded pretty awesome. But yea I think his effort and enthusiasm for performing live varies greatly from show to show, and then there are all of the drugs ha.
Have always appreciated how El Hefe is a bit of a ringer. He's a much better guitar player than he's allowed to let on. Hendrix, Aerosmith, Doobie Brothers, and Maiden riffs between songs this show alone

Amazing!
Searched and searched never found it. As soon as I heard the banter I knew it was the right one
Wow, 1994 with this kind of audio and video quality. Great upload, thanks!
well from a technical standpoint, it was filmed and recorded using an analog device being 1994... a lot better at handling this setting than digital. :-)
It's not like it was the 80's...
She's Gone has got to be the best, most underappreciated NoFX song. Fight me.
I was stoked they played it in Columbus a few weeks ago on their 'final tour'
I agree
Me and my friend Bob both agree on this
A gorgeous wee solo in it too! So tasty
And the bag too
Best live documented independent showing of NOFX live I ever saw. GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!! FUCKEN 94'
One song away from being the perfect show... 🟩🌽
This is the NOFX i remember, that set list is amazing.
I never got into the stuff after Punk in Drublic. This is a perfect set list.
@@kayceeyouYep, all went downhill after Punk in Drublic... Ribbed, The Longest Lube, White Trash, and Punk in Drublic are amazing, so at least their peak lasted for a while there.
Liza and Louise is probably one of their best songs.
i agree, that song makes me smile so hard everytime, the way he goes all out with the singing...freakin great
This is unreal. 2020 and in quarantine, wishing i was drunk in public!
Join me
Lol quarantine. What a sheep
Omg I always wondered what “punk in drublic” meant lol
I love how you can hear the bass drum without a trigger.
A fucking jewel of contemporary punk rock history!
NO ONE CAN PLAY THE DRUMS LIKE THAT!!! I'm a Drummer and that off-beat floor bass is majik to my ears!!
smelly is pretty badass
He is awesome. Love Smelly. But there are many drummers capable of playing this beat.
Floor bass? I'm not a drummer and wtf is a floor bass? The Floor tom?? The bass drum??? The bassist's amplifier??
pennywise dummer comes to mind when it comes to those fast repetitive double bass kicks
Dave Raun too, he’s really fast.

The audio quality of this video recorded in 1994 is impressive!!!!

30年か・・・
私は仕事のトラックで毎日聞かせてもらっていますよ!
これからもありがとう!
Still aggravated at myself that i slept on seeing them in Chicago on this tour.

early 90s nofx is the best nofx.
this is the best nofx live era. Sounds amazing they were so in tune. Perfect
Saw them in 96, it was almost this energetic. Probably extra hyped because it's cbgb's.
@@fromulus i think 93-02 was their best, judging by love videos. After that fatty started to lose his voice slowly.
@@fromulusCBGBs NYC is the home of Punk Rock. RIP CBGBs
I was at this show ,standing up front getting pushed into the stage , my stomach hurt for days but well worth it , damn they killed it
I was at this show. Face to Fce opened. It was incredible. Makes me sad and miss my youth, but it's still amazing to watch and relive.
They played dying degree! One of my favorites!
When punk in drublic was new, about 4 months old at that point.
i saw this and was so happy! i love NOFX and Cbgb seemed like a badass club!!
made my night watching this. i miss that era of music. it makes me want to play in a band again.
Wow, they actually played "The Quass"
and dying degree, of course..
My favorite!
This is a treasure. Thank you for posting.
The best. Thanks for taking me back.

Nofx are so lucky to have Smelly. Such a killer drummer. Such a clean slide technique.
She's gone: such a cool song!
I was only 9 at the time, didn’t even know who nofx were until I was about 15,aged 36 and still love this band
This is so epic, this set is badass!!! Wish they would do this same line up!
was at this show with all my friends... Face to Face opened for them & they were all standing outside CBGB handing out FatMusic for Fat People vol 1 after the show on CD & Cassette!
So was I! I remember seeing Face to Face too, and getting that comp.
live fat, die young
this set was legendary
MISS THIS OLD GOOD TIMES🕊❤️🩹🤘🏻💪🏼
This is awesome! I would have loved to see them play so long ago.
What an epic set!😊
nice gift from the early nofx days! tanks guys!
Amazing quality video and audio... insane!!!
Thanks for uploading this OP!! Pretty fuckin rad!!!!
I had one of those green nofx t-shirt El Hefe was wearing . Bought it when they played Preston in 93.
I had a bootleg of this, with which I used to torture my dad in the car back in 1995. Nice!
the first 30 seconds is the greatest...
Fkn Love this mix the snare and kick got that festival sound 🤘🏼🥁🤘🏼
Fat Mike is really embracing those vicodin pretty hard in between songs. Those were the days, before it became a plague on the world. I too, have some great hydro/oxycodone memories from the 90's, but I wish I never tried it, sure Mike feels the same.
Had this show on CD. Saw them around this time in new Albany in. With ten foot pole and face to face
This is so clear it’s so sick
Agreed
This is awesome, my first NOFX shirt was from the Pink in Drublic tour. Got it at a Hot Topic in 97.
When hot topic actually supported the punk scene.
I recently found out that taking a friend from Philadelphia to this show changed his life in an amazing wat!
What a great set list. Saw them at riot fest and they played moron bros. it was awesome. Wish they would play more old stuff
Got this one on a bootleg cd somewhere......have to put it back in the car now!!!
They built this city; on Rock and Roll.
I was at this show, first time seeing them. Two years later, my band played after them at a festival in Basque Country.
whats your band ?
King Chango
Wow 30 years ago, time fucking flies.
wow. fat mike could actually sing.
1994 - SUPERAWESOME! Thanks!
I was at this show. Ah to be young again.
Love the venue , spew I never got to go
I really would love too see them play She's Gone b4 they hang it up.
Lol Mike: "Don't call me Mike"
The sound is so good ! thanks for sharing !
Thanks so much for the upload. Brings me right back in time.
Thanxs! Very Good Sound!
Crazy, they opened for Ten Foot Pole or so they say at 57:34
The only bad thing in this concert is Mike's hair hahahah. Btw thanks for the upload !
Thanks to Video recorder for approx 7:13 adjustment! MUCH BETTER CHEERS!
The Longest Line actually sounds a lot better live.
Wow...this may be my favorite live version of the song! Woulda loved to hear John Smith on this setlist.
Perfect audio...Tanks for upload!!!
el hefe nailing that trumpet during Bob made me happy

Fat Mike on his game here. Vocals are great.

2:39 when hefe said "we need snare" I really felt that.
Seriously, the whole time during linoleum I was trying to find it.
And a follow up now that the second song has started, they fixed it, super clear now.
Have to say this is probably NOFX in their prime live, as far as effort to play well anyways lol.
tmpardi77 totally agree. They sound good and mike’s singing seems pretty on point. Well as on point as what you really expect from a live punk band.
I always liked NOFX records as a kid. Then I saw that doc they did in Peru. They just dont sound the same anymore.
i saw them live at Ecuador, days before they play in peru, they were great
First 4 albums. Thats NOFX for me
17:57 didn't know jack black used to play in nofx
The “Mesa Boogie” years...!!
hefe had that shirt on in buffalo at the warp tour
Cameraman forgetting to frame Smelly completely destroying the set. Besides that what a treasure bro. Thanks for posting.
can't film through the wall that blocked him..c;mon now.so besides that, yeah don't be a gilligan
Hefe and Melvin look exactly the same.
fat mike singin' stickin' in my eye ? only in the 90's dude!
Luis Gabriel Guerrero I saw them back in 2011 and they actually opened up with it!
So much good stuff on s&m airlines and ribbed that probably hardly ever gets played live anymore!! 😢😢
yes
I thought Linoleum was bought out on Punk in Drublic in '95
sounds amazing, "going nowhere" sounds perfectt
so good.
vengan a Argentina...
Best showerdays live ever
Best set list ever
jesus el hefe doesn't age
Fucking awesome footage man!
NoFX played Bizarre Festival in Cologne Germany that summer, exactly same setlist, what a coincidence!
30 años después viene la despedida 😢
Have always appreciated how El Hefe is a bit of a ringer. He's a much better guitar player than he's allowed to let on. Hendrix, Aerosmith, Doobie Brothers, and Maiden riffs between songs this show alone
100% when sober, 60% when not sober.
fucking awesome!
liza and louise ❤
#wow #whoa
El hefe had that shirt on at the warp tour
And she's gone! Fuckin awesome!
I was at this show! Face to Face and some other band that i didn't care for opened, iirc. I remember yelling "You suck!" at the first band and they apologized. Sorry, other band! 30 years late, but ya know... I just wanted to get to NOFX. RIPGBGB
