As a American living in a decaying culture. I am grateful to Wardruna and Heliung for bringing me to the ways of our ancestors through beautiful music.
I am so happy for this video! Wardruna and Heilung kept me grounded during the worst time of my life. It would be amazing to see them live and I really appreciate that these passionate people create what feels right for them. I wish you guys the best with the new channel!
Eninar literally rescued the sound from the grave, and connected us to the souls of our ancestors, revieved my DNA. Then as Hielung sprang forth adding more to my healing. As do many more groups, who are true to our Animistic nature. Reconnecting those of the Human Family. Joutnir behind scenes can kiss off! Thank you, Norse Family for these documentaries.
i would like to encourage you to check out Hagalaz' Runedance. Songs like "Seidr", "When the Falcon Flies", "Urd, that which was..." are a good reference point but they made this expression of music long before these two bands you mentioned. Not to take anything away from them but just hoping to raise attention to an artist (Andrea Meyer Haugen July 6th, 1969 - Oct 13th, 2021) who left off where Einar picked up and took it further and then many acts would soon follow.
Wardruna has also helped me greatly in my darkest hours!! Really great video! You guys Glorify our beliefs and ways of life honorably! Well done once again. I'm proud to be apart of this family!
Very blessed to have seen Wardruna and Heilung over the last couple of years! Both have their own feel, but both connected. Thank you for this channel and all that you share!
@@CuriousTunes Odeon of Herodes Atticus Just google. Ancient theater in Athens. Spectacular place and the concert was so special. So sad we Greeks don't appreciate the legacy of the ancient times. People have no idea what's going on around here. A relic is just a relic 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
@@CuriousTunes Just to clear it up my Heathen friends, It’s neither a Trossingen Lyre or a Taglharpa, it’s a Kravik Lyre, a Trossingen Lyre doesn’t have large pegs at the top, and you use a Bow to play a Taglharpa. I own both, a Kravik Lyre and a Taglharpa, both great instruments aswell

From the loud fast black metal of Gorgoroth to the beautiful, enchanting, ancient sounds of Wardruna, pure talent,
And WOW is all I can say,
Quite the journey :D
@@CuriousTunes @ it is indeed, Gaahl the vocalist for Gorgoroth was with Wardruna when they started aswell

Danheim video when?
Yeaah… I want to do it, I just need to land an interview with him because not much is out there on the internet :)
8:21..Thats a Trossingen lyre, not a taglharpa, but both is among the instruments that is used.
I honestly double checked it. Looked up the definition multiple times, counted the number of strings etc. I am pretty sure it is correct.
