I just noticed that there is screws on the side of the press that says the bottom is for standard mugs and the top is latte. Do you really have to adjust this each time?
Hi Bill, You will want to use the standard heating element for the skinny tumblers. We recommend using a smaller design that does not exceed the heating element, however, if you choose something bigger, you will need to rotate the tumbler and move it for each press. Settings for a mug press are 350degF, 80-100 seconds, medium pressure. For additional presses on the same tumbler, you can reduce the time to 50 seconds. You can view additional information and application instructions here: www.proworldinc.com/sb-s-248.html
@@KarmaticExperience We were able to achieve enough pressure with our mug press by adjusting the pressure screw on the unit. If you find you skinny tumbler is not snug within the heating element, you can use a silicone cover to help conduct the heat and provide a snug fit. www.proworldinc.com/sb-s-073-3d-vacuum-film.html
Can i use transfer paper? I used it on a late mug for 40 secs, as instructed on the intructions and it was bad so im thinking that theres a very good reason why you left it for son long, also something tells me your using sublimation paper
The 3 in 1 mug press can print on standard straight mugs and tapered tall and short mugs. The 16oz tumblers we sell on our site will work within this unit. www.proworldinc.com/16-oz-stainless-steel-tumbler.html
Hi Denise, you do not have to epoxy the mug when done. The design will penetrate the polymer coating, and then the coating will seal the mug as it cools down.
Bought this machine because of this demo and get fading sometimes on top/bottom, sometimes around the corners. I use the same Temp/Time settings and I'm printing on 15oz mugs. Have yet to make a perfect mug though out of about 3 cases. I've seen suggestions of repositioning the mug and pressing for extra time (around the bottom), is there a legit way to remedy this, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I don't understand the degree part. When I put my mug in the press at 400 degrees, it rapidly goes down to 200+ (like yours did in video) Am I suppose to wait for it to reach back up to 400 before counting down the timer (others on youtube said yes, wait) Or do I disregard that? And my black colors always end up brown. Why? Thank you
You should start the timer once you place the mug in the mug press. The drop of temperature is alright. The reason why your blacks are turning brown is due to 'overcooking' or burning the ink. Lessen the time until you notice the paper is not browning - usually about 3-4 minutes is all you need.
Ok, I've just kind of given up because I'm wasting mugs. I've gone thru about 10 at several tried, writing it all down, but either black turns brown or the colors are not dark enough. But will try again Thank you
I also have the same problem.. I just bought a Transfer machine,, I've done a few Tshirts.. but not having success with the mugs . The last time I tried it, the image wouldnt' transfer to the mug? Did you have any success yet?
Hi, You will need the following items - sublimation printer, sublimation paper, sublimation mugs, non stick sheet, mug press, heat resistant tape. We offer a mug starter package which offers a good start - www.proworldinc.com/starter-packages/mug-starter-package.html
We are sorry for any confusion. The purpose of this video was to introduce and focus on our 3 in 1 mug press. The designs were created using a Virtuoso SG400 sublimation printer with sublijet HD inks and Texprint paper.
The current price as of 8/2/2019 is $279 and can be found on our site here www.proworldinc.com/heat-transfer-press/mug-presses/mgp6051-trans-pro-3-in-1-mug-heat-press.html
Took me ages to figure this out I bought a spray to pep the mugs FIRST...! They don't tell you THAT....! Google it and buy it on line, can't remember what it's called sorry, but only after spraying the the mugs with a clear coat of that and then heating them up before printing on them will the ink transfer 👍Heat them up to about 180 degrees for around 25 mins the have the heat press on 100 degrees for about 1 minute. It's works
Unfortunately, the Temps are the One Main thing that is constantly exaggerated. The amount of time needed to be affective or otherwise end up with a useless product. Do your homework and not always take what videos claim to heart at working, not everyone's out to screw you up on purpose, just be wary.
Where is the picture ? On a PC ?

This is adjusted when you are changing out the element sizes only.
Can you please demo a 20 ounce skinny tumbler with this? I just bought one. Or just tell me which sleeve to use with heat parameters. Thanks.

Also one of my tests slid off the mold, and it dosnt seem to fit perfectly, like theres a gap on top
Transfer paper will not work for this printing method. You will need sublimation ink and sublimation paper when printing on a mug surface.
Will this work on a 16 oz tumbler

Can you use regular heat transfer paper and inkjet printer ink when pressing mugs?
You will need sublimation ink when printing on a mug surface.
My press does not close with a 15oz mug. I’m not sure if it’s the press or if I’m doing something wrong. Help!!!
Did you ever get an answer?
Should the mug be epoxyed when don

Maybe its an issue with your ICC color profile for your graphics program. You're not getting true black after it sublimates.
does regular mug which is in Micheal store works for sublimation machine? did you use regular or sublimation mug?
You would need to use a polymer coated sublimation mug. A regular ceramic mug from a local store would not work.
Where can i buy the bottle printing heat press machine?
We are working on testing a few mug presses that offer the longer heating element for bottles. We will keep you posted.
Is this a stand alone press? Or do I need another machine to use this with?
The TransPro 3-in-1 mug press is a stand alone press. The press includes 3 interchangeable heating elements to accommodate most mug sizes.
What paper are you using as I can't get mine to transfer the print???
We use Texprint R paper with our virtuoso sg400 printer.
I also have the same problem.. I just bought a Transfer machine,, I've done a few Tshirts.. but not having success with the mugs . The last time I tried it, the image wouldnt' transfer to the mug? Did you have any success yet?
You have to use mugs with the poly coat on them. Not just regular mugs. Type in sublimation mugs into google.hope this helps
Can you use a water bottle in this press?
Can you use glass or just mugs and tumblers?
Sub mugs : /
What kind of tape did you use to secure the transfer paper?
We used thermal tape - www.proworldinc.com/printables-more/tp-12-heat-tape-12-wide.html
Can you put a metal or plastic tumbler in this!?
Yes you can, as long as the product is meant for sublimation. The larger latte attachment will allow you to print the tumbler.
Could anyone tell me what I all need to get started to do coffee mugs? With the mug press?

what type of printer & transfer paper?
Virtuoso SG400 sublimation printer with sublijet HD inks and Texprint paper were used to create the designs.
what type of printer you use to print out a design
We used the Virtuoso SG400 for this print (sublimation printer).
Yeah, keep in mind you'll also need sub printer and sub ink and sub paper. Discouraging.
I don't get it . You mentioned nothing about sublimation. You just said removing the Transfer Paper !!

I really hate when people make videos , yet leave out pertinent info on what is important !!
Or you can just purchase mugs that are specifically for sublimation. They are already coated with the poly spray. Much easier and faster .
