- Heil Python compactor in action on a recycling route. The first few minutes are spent driving from one part of the route to another, then the collection begins.
It's a Mack LE600 CNG. I still prefer the Autoreach, but I'll get used to this eventually.
We're switching to CNG, so we are getting all new trucks, eventually. That's as close to autopack as it gets.
If our routes were different, I might. I've got too many mailboxes to deal with, and too many tight areas to work in. If i could get the customers to give me enough space between the carts, I'd be much happier.
Recycling looks a little contaminated with the broken mirror, plastic bags, and film. Do they recycle plastic bags?
It's hard to get used to that big arm hanging out in front of the grabber. I've knocked over quite a few cans and come close to a few mailboxes. I miss the pack-assist/crusher panel, too.
Does that not cause problems when bottles and debris slide behind the packing blade?
I really enjoyed the video alot! Great length! If it's easy odor you to get more, then I'm sure we would all love it. From this view, it looks like the autoreach was better as far as hopper space goes. If I were you, I'd like the autoreach better. Awesome video agiain!

It's a Swann Freestyle HD, the Aussie attempt at a Go-Pro. Works great, costs much less. I get a strange buzzing sound sometimes, but that might be my mount. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Mack LE600 CNG. I'll learn to like it.
I usually fill a 65 gallon cart when I clean out at the end of the day. I need to figure out why the follower panel has such a big gap in front of it.

I read some of the comments below, but I could already tell it was a Mack because of the noise of the truck its self, although I was sure it was diesel, but after reading the comments below, I found that it was CNG (evidently both CNG and diesel sound very similar) I know this because in my neighborhood, we have a Mack terrapro low entry with the Heil durapack python , but ours is diesel

Yes, finally someone has put a video up of a Python packer!! Great job. Question, does a lot of material fall behind the blade?
theres also 2 types of python packers this one is the durapack one not the cp one
