I have the same instrument, also one from the ›Limited Edition‹. I restrung it to start at a 23Hz low F♯-String (.175). Awesome and very beautiful instrument.
I had to change the preamp in both bases. The BTB pick ups are way better than the wolf pick ups. In the BTB I have Aguilar preamp. In the wolf I use the tone monster Preamp. Also with the BTB string spacing is an issue if you double thump.
