Nice job, my friend. You've inspired me to be more creative in a project on which I'm working right now, utensil holders for the kitchen. Thanks for posting this video. Stay safe.
Cool idea.....could you have maybe used clamps to hold down the wood to drill holes?? That's if you have small enough clamps, and they are strong enough too. Also, I'm sure if you wanted to use other woods, you could too. I have a bunch of walnut and red oak I have to use up.
@@FeralBoyKnives nah, dont be like that. I also made an edit to my post. I'm gonna try this little project out but use some walnut and red oak. I'll have to find some brass dowels, but I do have some wood dowels I might experiment with.
Great video, loads of inspiration for projects using brass and exposed plywood edges. I've been screwed by 5 min epoxy also, next time I'm order 15 or 30 minute.
Like your work. 5th ELEMENT, great movie.
Thanks!

That would have been the smart thing to do…but then again, I’m not the smartest crayon in the box

@@FeralBoyKnives seriously it's still a cool little project.
Different from what I have seen, so give yourself credit for that!!!
Good work Howie. I like that 5th element idea. One of my favorite movies!
Thanks! Me too.
Great work Howie inexpensive but beautiful nice job buddy.
Opa's Workshop thanks! All from stuff I had lying around
I like the use of brass, i've never added that to a project before. I'll have to try it out sometime.
I dig it. The exposed edge plywood is a nice look.
Dan The Maker Man me too. Thanks

49cfr agreed! I thought I could win the race, but that 5 mins sure went by rather quickly.
That's really slick!
