Hi! I'm a new subscriber! I really love the way you upcycle your clothes! I actually prefer the way you do it rather than how others just use scissors and cut through the entire piece. This way just feels less reckless and more clean and efficient. Do you know of any others who upcycle the same way as you?

Hi whyb I have a problem that I’m sure you could easily solve🧐 which is using my too small, out of date, low rise skinny jeans ( I have about 20 pairs in multiple colours like pink red yellow aqua also including blue grey & black denim) & I want to figure out a cool way to turn them into high waisted wide leg pants... a tricky problem. I would love to see what your highly creative mind comes up with! 🤪😜
Aww well, thx for the comment. Well, there are some options to get that shape. First of all, you need to unpick side seams to get wider pants and add extra fabric in between to panels divided. Of course, depends on how much you want to extend. To get high wasted shape, first of all unpick the waste band including loops and brand tag then add an extra fabric, but to do this, you also need longer zip as well! You could get the longer zip from other items like jackets. Finally, restitch the waste band, loops and the tag. In short, 1. unpick waste band 2. extend sides 3. add extra scraps in waste and get longer zip then restitch 4. restitch the waste band

i always enjoy watching you refashion clothes. what is that machine you used on the snaps? i've seen that on other channels as well. looks easier than my hammer and less painful too. ; )
