The Silent Yacht propulsion system has a 25-year Solar Panels Warranty, an 8-year Battery Banks Warranty, and a Lifetime warranty for the electric motors. In 8 years, the replacement cost is probably comparable to or less than the maintenance cost of two diesel engines in a conventional power catamaran.
