I know ranking videos get the views, but part of me feels certain this is for lack of anything else being available. If you ever find viewership declining, I suggest whenever possible making comparison videos. Show what you're talking about with 2 or more at one position. For me, good as your scripts are, nothing sticks in my head when it's just a list of characteristics. One guy's stated weakness may be coached out, another's might be The Reason they bust. But I can't tell that without video.

Don’t worry, content is pretty dry in the preseason haha. My final rankings that I’ve done the last two years show the tape along with other videos I’ve done. It’s just because it’s the preseason.

@@chasekellerjournalism I keep wanting *_someone_* to look more into what the Bears did to Fields. It may be media hype because no one wants to be the person to tell Russ to ride the bench but if he gets to start, the best way to grow your channel would be to look into what happened around weeks 5-10.
If I remember correctly, 5 was when Fields first *started* to stop himself throwing to open receivers. When the Bears didn't take him into the blue tent after 3-4 times of this it became clear _they knew_ at least he wasn't concussed.
The only way they could *know that without checking* was if he was Following Orders. Otherwise why didn't *_they_*_ suspect_ he was concussed? It was such an unnatural action, he'd never done this before. Not even accidentally.
So for the next 3 weeks reporters tried asking Eberflus about this. His reaction was at best inappropriate? He'd slash his arm down in a chop-wave motion like an Angry Dad's Last Warning to his kids before a spanking.
Then Fields called out "my coaches for confusing me" & the play-sets totally switched. Everyone remembers the designed QB rushes but unless you think Fields ran 400 yards per game as QB there were other different plays too & the Bears scored 29 or more points in those games. Have you noticed many teams finding a way to double their offense then returning to plays that halved it & everyone was happy?
That's what happened & Fields even got blamed for those 3 games they lost with people saying "this just proves _Fields_ can't win games."
This is why the "he can't read defenses" meme resurfaced as an excuse for those plays. "The Bears _needed to_ call those to simplify the offense *for* Fields because he can't read defenses." You've heard of Brett Kollmann? Reading defenses isn't something you can unlearn. So _that_ was a lie to start with ua-cam.com/video/QuhUbISnr8s/v-deo.html.
Then when all the haters realized that making his stop to read jersey #s before passing wasn't simpler than not having to do that, they thought "D'uhh, dese plays make Fields hold onto the ball. Let's say 'Fields holds onto the ball too long' now" even though five seconds earlier they were excusing that as a necessity when they knew the coaches were responsible for calling those plays. So he proved it was nothing _but_ play-calling holding him back, 2 or 3 times if you count that they returned to the better plays weeks 11 & 14-17 of '23.
But people had made up their minds he sucked & his proving them wrong just irritated people. But can you imagine any *other team* getting away with this?
If the Jets changed their plays & Zach Wilson doubled his output what would happen if the team returned to the previous plays one half of one game? Hackett would have stood right behind Matt Canada in the unemployment lines.
There's something you could look into. If Fields gets to start & does well you'd look prescient. If he could score 29 points or more with these ua-cam.com/video/glpaya0xz-4/v-deo.html receivers (before they acquired D.J. Moore) then imagine what he could do with Freiermouth, Pickens, Jalen Warren, the speedy Myles Austen, & based on camp reports, Darnell Washington. The _Steelers' defense_ has trouble stopping *him.*
It's be even better if Caleb simply has a slow start which is possible. I think that those plays that doubled the scoring were Getsy's. & Waldron was the guy who achieved less with 2X the RB & WR talent than Canales worked with _after watching_ Canales succeed!
It's quite possible they're both inept.
