Elvis's pronunciation is perfect You can hear every t at the end of words, where most people drop it or slur it. I never hsve trouble understanding him. And I love him and his beautiful voice!
That's All Elvis Singing, Including The High Part. Blue Moon 🔵 was Recorded at Sun Studio on Wednesday night, August 19, 1954 When Elvis was only 19. It was written by Rodgers and Hart and was first recorded in 1935 by AL Bowlly.
Love this song. It was written in the 1930s and recorded by a bunch of artists from then til now, but Elvis' version just has that certain something special. And like someone else said, the echo effect was on purpose. More than one Elvis is A-ok in my book. LOL
I first heard this in Grease. I've loved it ever since and now I love the Elvis version even more. ❤❤❤❤❤ Echo doesn't bother me at all. It feels like it goes there. WE❤U ELVIS!!!
Elvis has laughed about all of the echo in his early recordings. I love this one. Bruce Springsteen "echoed" this recording of Elvis in his, "I'm On Fire". For Elvis, it is a cover, but he makes it his easily.❤❤❤
That echo was Elvis signature sound in his early years at sun records. The sound was know as over dubbing where he would record himself to get his echo effect. The drifters where the ones that recorded this song originally
It’s tape echo, it was done by having two recording heads on the tape, so when played back it’s recorded the vocal twice with a slight delay recorded by the second head. There was no overdubs on early sun it was all done on one take
Great reaction, my brother,RaElvis! Blue Moon was written and recorded around 1934-1935. That's a master piece by Elvis Presley. The Marcels in the early 60's recorded a faster version of this song.
Dios es perfecto y dió a Elvis el don de su voz era imposible que no fuera es y seguirá siendo un ARTISTA INMORTAL como no compartir su voz maravillosa de terciopelo con el mundo habría sido un SACRILEGIO.
wow ... beautiful image, the swing in autumn.... I approve but in my dream I will change one thing, if I can dream, I dream big and I say no loudspeaker but Elvis with the guitar.... his voice is impeccable. ⚡️👑🎸🎶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Hi Relvis!! I Love Elvis too! I’m only 11 years younger than him , grew up listening to his music, a Phenomenon! The King Of Music💗💗💗 Oh, and my older brother had squirrels for pets! He would save wounded or babies that fell out of their nests, he ended up with the nickname Squirrel! He would walk around the house and neighborhood with them on his shoulder! Love your channel! You GET it! Peace!! 💗💗💗🕺🎶🎚
Absolutely Love Elvis’s recordings in the early years, I was there, I’m only 11 years younger than Elvis! He’s my man, A Phenomenon, Charismatic Always, The King Of Music💗💗💗🎶🕺🎚
Yep, Elvis' version of this song is so awesome. He did a pretty cool version of Blueberry Hill too, but another song that has a similar reverb to this is a song called Tomorrow Night. They put the reverb in his first RCA album to try to simulate what Sam Phillips did with Elvis' Sun Records but they didn't know how to use the reverb Sam Phillips used by double reeling the master to get the echo like big hall reverb sound effect.
They recorded 100% live in those days. Elvis is the onky voice. That's the signature echo effect on Elvis voice. Audio is not messed up. Blue Moon is a song from the 1940s. I think the doo-wop version is the most famous.
---- ----- ---- So amazing how musical he was from the very beginning, no formal training, no real experience recording yet, and then pulls off a HAUNTING song like this. This version is unique, albeit the song is a standard many many artists have covered. Elvis turned this into something new.
I love the beautiful meandering of your thoughts Ray 😂 I adore Elvis' version of Blue Moon. It's the only version that ever made sense to me. Despite the original lyrics it's always felt like such a sad song to me. Leaving out the finding of his love was genius!

It's supposed to have the echo -- one of his first recordings at Sun Records - Aug 1954!!

WE❤U ELVIS!!!
Echo is what I actually love. It gives it a haunting quality that no other version had, esp when Elvis starts those humming the melody. Chills

i doubt that. it is just the small Sun Studio which caused the echo. Also the other sun recordings of other artists had it.

@@thepuma2012Yes, that's what I heard too.
The Drifters weren't around in the 1930's. Theye weren't the first.
@@thepuma2012he’s correct about this one.
Love Elvis so much!

That's one of my favorite tracks from him! Ray C
Perfect Sun Record Sound! Elvis did not originate this song. It was around a while by different artists.

This is good. But his version of Blue Moon of Kentucky is even better!
I have problem with not remembering nothing also😂
Beautiful Baby Elvis.....sigh 💯⚡❤️
It`s not an echo, it`s a reverb :) Haunting song, always loved it.
100% all Elvis
As well Ray, I think you assumed the high notes was sung by somebody else. I believe that’s Elvis all the way.
Yes it's elvis signing the high notes . Remember its 3 guys Elvis Bill and Scotty plus Sam phillips
Check out Polk Salad Annie funny version by Elvis, it's hysterical
Yes!Elvis did originate `Blue Moon`
Upchurch did a song Blue Moon, One of my favorites. Brings back memories
"Blue Moon" was written by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart in 1934.
hi When will you do the Elvis and the karate review? There's a spectacular documentary on Elvis and his Karate.
---- ----- ---- So amazing how musical he was from the very beginning, no formal training, no real experience recording yet, and then pulls off a HAUNTING song like this. This version is unique, albeit the song is a standard many many artists have covered. Elvis turned this into something new.
The ‘echo’ was a studio effect employed during that time period.
I HAVE THAT ALBUM AND THE 2nd 1-2. MONEY HONEY- OLD SHEP ALL ARE GREAT.
Hi, do you and your family and Love as well
Supposed to have an acho...silly!!! That was the time of echo music( Gene Vincent's music had that too).
This song is all elvis no one else was signing high and low its a song that highlights elvis range
I love the beautiful meandering of your thoughts Ray 😂
I adore Elvis' version of Blue Moon. It's the only version that ever made sense to me. Despite the original lyrics it's always felt like such a sad song to me.

Many people have sang this song. Many people
Rogers and Hart wrote this in 1934 many artists have covered it.
Upchurch Vinyl LMFAO yes Uncle Ray im spamming your videos 😂
This might be an unpopular opinion but I think fireball taste like Christmas. That's just me tho. I love it.
SQUIRRELS GANGSTERS AND I AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THEM
The echo is supposed to be there. It's part of the recording process back then on certain songs. One of his early early recordings.
Rolfson Burg
He was only 19.
