As a child and teenager, I’ve been told a lot. I had the passion and the will to work hard. I’ve been told I’m extremely talented, but my weakness was my height. Long story short, after hearing 10 years straight he good but short, I quit. 20 years have past and I never touched a basketball again.

I always wanted to be a basketball player but watching this video made me realize more that God was PROTECTING me😂 throughout the countless times I worked to get on a team and didn’t make it it wasn’t my skills it was just weird politics that were out of my control and it took personally. I can only imagine if I went to the big leagues. It might have done worse to my mental health.

@MEEPKEEPBEEBHO The greatest 3pt shooter is Ray Allen. But Steph Curry is basically the babe Ruth of basketball. I'm not trying to take away from him by comparing him to BR, but he changed the game as a generational player. I hold steph to the same level as John Stockton and Michael Jordan. But to me, and I've seen Ray Allen Do the shit that steph does on the bucks as a rookie. Steph can't even dunk like that. Steph is an Icon 100% he's gonna be the focus of the next space, Jam. But I've watched Ray Allen play live. The greatest 3 pt shooter is Jesus Shuttlesworth, my guy. He could dunk, shoot the middy, play defense, run the break, pull from 3 off the dribble around screens, had bounce, and no problem with his altheticism. Ray can shoot and play with in any system as a shooter. Steph... however.. is the babe Ruth of basketball cause he literally changed the game. I'm more ways that MJ, and doesn't not have a conventional NBA build. Steph... is a unicorn. He's an anomaly, he's one of the guys where it's like the greatest 3 pt shooter really can be Ray Allen cause he is but steph, is a different category of player. Steph is Generational talent unicorn like wemby. He doesn't make sense. Steph will be synonymous with basketball to the next generations like MJ was. When they think basketball, they're gonna picture Steph Curry. That's what Steph Curry is, Ray Allen is the greatest 3-point shooter to ever live. His wisdom actually helps other people shoot. STEPH? Nah, steph really can't teach what he does cause steph is a friggin anaomly and should be held that.

There's a lot of profiles that weren't addressed fr that are still sweet but come with their own bag of issues - especially at each stage. Peep the undrafted, like you said. Peep the two-way rookie who couldn't get out of the G-League. Peep the rising star who can't seem to shake 5 straight years of injuries. Peep the career ending injury at ANY stage. Peep the perennial sixth-man who was supposed to be a rising star. Peep the vet's minimum guy whether they were once a superstar or not. Is the Big 3 even viable? who tf knows
I agree with you - being paid to pursue a passion in any form is sweet as hell. I definitely take a vet's min career if it means I can say I played in the NBA or not had to worry about corporate grind for a decade or so, leave that money in the form of even an apartment or house for my kids. Passion definitely makes it less of a grind - but blending what you love and what you break your back with to eat is a whole different type of social contract.

Just so you know so you can stop spreading misinformation, the truth of why Jordan Poole was punched was publised in an ESPN article by Kendra Andrews who covers the Warriors last month.
Poole was punched because Draymond Green and Klay Thompson got upset because they both were denied new contracts after the championship in favor of Poole and Wiggins.
Plus, Klay Thompson was upset because he felt Poole was coming for his job. There is actual video on UA-cam of Klay accusing Poole of trying to steal his job during an interview while the team was in Japan during 2022 2023 preseason. Kendra was there and I have seen the video.

That's still not a reason to physically assault anyone, but,Green knew nothing was gonna happen to him acting out like a little child. If I did this immature act at my job ( plus you may get your &&& handed to you-LOL ) I'd lose my job, plus get arrested and go to jail. Even David Stern said on camera the nba is the only ( I believe this was when Latrell Sprewell choked his coach ) job where you assault your boss and keep your jog. And Sprewell was-TRASH-for choking his coach, not once, but, twice. A childish, immature &&&hole who should've been kicked out the nba for that assault.
