Always been a fan of asking individuals to press rather than the whole team. In general I’ll ask my front 3 and one advanced midfielder in my 433 to do the pressing and if the opposition break the press they’ve then got a structured defence to get through also which I’ve had generally good results with 👍🏻 great video!

Something else i do, is have specific instructions for certain players when they are playing e.g. in my LW spot, my main starter is an IF on support. The backup i play as an IW on attack. On the other side, i have the starter as a treq, but the sub i normally bring on is a winger on support. Helps change things up during a game without having to amend all the instructions

im totally new, how do i get my tactics screen to look like that (with the player faces beside the kit and the green lines) also what are the green lines? some type of passing routes? is this some skin or also possible with base fm? if so which skin?
This is exactly how you made tactics in older FM's, before players roles. Back when you had to do everything with sliders ranging from 1 to 20. Back to basics!

This is all good, but what happens when you don't have those galactic players and you want to create something with a rubish team and shitty players? What's the tactic essential there?
really great video. do you think this style could work for worse players? ones that dont have such stand out stats like u mentioned with kroos. im playing as Gladbach atm and they're very mid table
