The aiming issue has always been hit and miss. In some cases they are extremely good soldiers with excellent aiming. In other cases they were seriously poor. In the main series. Troopers poor aiming was due to being ordered to miss the targets. New hope. In Empire strikes back they basically tore apart the Hoth Rebel base in short order. Return of the Jedi they were fighting and with a severe disadvantage in numbers, the environment and position (being ambushed) and they were winning up until chewie grabbed a scout walker. Andor Troopers were pretty good shots. Both what appeared to be regular army and the storm Troopers that appeared This goes for the rogue one Troopers as well. They pretty much almost always hit what they shot at Ashoka. Thrawn Troopers appears to be pretty good despite the fact many people complained about them. Most of the shots they fired were deflected by the Jedi, the part timer, and the mandalorian, and actually used tactics. The fact they were against 2 trained saber users and a person literally born into a warrior culture that literally inspired the clone Troopers and later storm troopers kinda had them at a disadvantage

Like a mix of Krennic’s cape and The Mandalorian Armorer’s mini fur one or the one worn by Jabba’s human stand-in in the original version of Jabba’s scene in A New Hope they filmed in 1977 (before they cut the scene from the theatrical cut, went a different route with Jabba for Return of the Jedi and finally adding the 1977 scene for the Special Editions but swapping the human stand in for the CGI Jabba)
