Hey Guys I used to know her when she was still going to school and she would sing during our breaks with Bandango band. She was a very pretty girl and I love talking to her. This was in 1985.

All I know is that, once Laura Canales started 2 "fade off" from being Tejano's #1 Tex-Mex Queen, AND THEN SELENA TOOK OVER almost all of the late 80's & 90's, that's when all female artists "disappeared" too--wonder WHY???
Stephanie is a great performer but back in the day all female singer were shadowed by Tejanos biggest Star Selena, very hard for Stephanie, Delia, Elsa, Shelly and many other female singer to compete with, even now Selena's Fan Base is stronger than Ever, But Happy Stephanie is back she has a new album and it is great......

I don't remember Selena at all back in the day sure I've heard of her and I've heard her music but I was blown away by the voice of Stephanie Lynn and her Angelic voice she came out with so much energy looking like a Mexican Marilyn Monroe there's no doubt in my mind had she kept going she would have been the queen of Tejano
She was sentenced to Federal prison for a drug offense. She was 28 at the time and is now about 38. She was released long ago. I don't know why she quit performing. I'm sure the public would forgive her. I love my country but our drug laws are stupid.
